good call. yeah i mean even if the prize was to pick 500 records or even 1,000 it might be better..i don't even know that i would want 3,000 records either...just thinking about it from virgil's side why not give the winner 1,000 records of their choosing and then sell the rest at DRAMATICALLY reduced prices and make a little money of them?

yeah i would be surprised if they didn't end up getting totally screwed on it...maybe it would be a better idea to just let the winner pick 100 records of their choice with no doubles or something like that

I think this is a really good idea and much more realistic than having just random people sell the records. I think that's a really good idea too. Maybe it would be better if they bought the stuff at a discounted rate and then they could resell it back to Suburban Home once they got back from tour so they would not be out any money. I would just not want anyone to end up in trouble if something happened to all the money they collected from selling stuff if money was to be lost or stolen. But it would be a good way for everyone to make more money and offer more stuff at a merch table.

yeah, i saw him play this song in columbia, s.c. a couple months back...he said that he wrote it on the way from b-ham to columbia ...it was actually kinda funny cuz he brought tim barry up to play it with him and assumed that tim would remember the song and he absolutely didn't but he did the best he could

I heard a rumor a little while back that Orphans was going to be pressed on vinyl. I was wondering if anyone had heard a release date for it?

yes it was on vinyl but it is a little pricey to buy now because i assume it out of print...the new one should be available ballad of the broken seas is a great album by the way..

Yeah in my last two places i've had issues with this since we have hardwood floors it seems...cuz my records never skipped in my place a few years back when i had carpet

Whenever someone walks in my living room or my dogs are playing the record will skip because there is too much movement. I'm sure many people have had issues like this before but I was wondering if anyone had any interesting ideas on what to put under the turntable to stabilize it a little more so they record wouldn't skip so much. It will skip when someone is walking in the living room sometimes. It sucks major wang...any ideas?

i dont really know why this is such a big deal...if the guy is a member of the co-op and they decided to sell the records because they didn't like them what does anyone else care?
