Seriously. I miss being able to see these guys on a somewhat regular basis. Can't wait for this record. It's also telling that they're making Surface to Air references. Cosmos and Spirit Animal are amazing, but it's safe to say Surface to Air is their best. If we get another Night Rhythms, look out.

Lots of punisher behavior in this thread. So much of this whining is why I will gladly dump my stuff I don't want at a record shop or just throw it in the garbage. Graded correctly or not, sometimes records (eespecially modern ones) just sound like trash.

This record needs a reissue so badly. It's easily one of the most iconic horror scores ever.

Gary's Notebook is one of my favorite jazz tracks ever and is basically a blueprint for everything I love about the genre.

The guy responsible for the score is named Steve Moore who has a ton of amazing solo work. In addition, he's in the band Zombi. He also scored a few movies under the pseudonym Gianni Rossi. All of his stuff is worth tracking down. Also, check out Umberto, Antoni Maiovvi, and The Slasher Film Festival Strategy.

Not saying these aren't good records, but this is a very peculiar opinion...

Don't forget Counterparts (which I've never pulled the trigger on since It's so damn pricey). I scored nice copies of Presto and Roll the Bones cheap years ago, but the lack of Atlantic re-issues is frustrating. Music on Vinyl or someone should get involved.
