  1. I can get into some sleaze, but man this movie was a bit too much for me. Not because of the content, but because of how all around awful it is. That said, it makes for a good group watch (with the required pizza and beer).
  2. Definitely some of their best stuff for sure. That said, for those that already own the 7", the single LP version is the way to go.
  3. You've got a point. Neurosis is just one of those bands that their records will always be expensive...
  4. Relapse's deluxe packages are so easy to skip though. Who really needs a more expensive color (well, this can be limited variant collective after all) plus a dumb patch or something equally worthless. Their basic pressings are cheap enough and passable. That said, will be buying this and probably be springing for the inevitable cheapest, black vinyl option.
  5. And in some cases, this behavior is what leads to revolution and change. There is no uniform way to go about change unfortunately.
  6. Jesus, I think you could benefit from doing some reading focused on such concepts as the urban crisis (as you seem quite interested). I'd check out Arc of Justice by Kevin Boyle and The Origins of the Urban Crisis by Thomas Sugrue.
  7. When thinking about the civil rights movement, it is important to keep in mind that the movement continued after 1964. In addition, the race riots emerged after 1964 and many felt that non - violence was dated and had accomplished nothing. Plus, looting and rioting has many different psychological angles other than just stealing and violence for the hell of it.
  8. Man, can't wait for this one. The songs they played this past tour that were not on the first collab were amazing.
  9. Obviously the joke is on you for not being down with FYE employee mall metal.
  10. This is a good one. I snagged an original color press of Panopticon when it came out and kind of regret not flipping it at its height of value.
  11. I sold a lot of that stuff at the height of its value which was pretty awesome. Somehow though just this year I sold the first two Saetia 7"s for a mint (got them for $3 a piece at Jerry's Records years ago).
  12. When it was first announced that Steve Moore did the soundtrack for The Guest, I asked Death Waltz about it. They said they'd plan on doing You're Next first. So...might happen?
  13. If you're in the states, there's literally no reason to order direct. So what if you don't get the most limited, precious variant? You'll save money and it'll arrive pristine. LITA is the best.
  14. Some of the music is decent and some of it is over the top cheesy. I'm happy with my original pressing (which I scored for $3 and was sealed) but would never buy the Waxwork version.
  15. The track posted from this is awesome. Definitely going with the black though. Dropping that much cash just for a color is stupid.
  16. Nice. Definitely need to get better acquainted with this record.
  17. Worrying about LITA is something that doesn't make sense to me. They're as reliable as anyone in the business.
  18. Printed inner-sleeves are shit and frankly you should expect them to arrive split. That's just the nature of the game.
  19. Brazil has a notoriously awful postal service. Probably not worth it unless you use Endicia or something along those lines.
