  1. Considering most people here only have a 300 dollar turntable it isnt that big a deal to spin this on your TT. Its not like you have a huge investment in it. Besides the fact that we as humans have figured out how to make sound play out of ice is absolutely incredible and amazing.

I agree with ronnieg on the first part, sometimes throwing down $300 on something is a lot. But yes, I too think it's fucking awesome that someone somewhere figured out the concept of scratching sound into something and having it play back.

  2. As a Connecticut resident, 40 minutes away from where this happened, I can say that the whole state is already contributing to the recovery process. There have been vigils for the victims with HUGE turnouts. Despite the atrocity that happened in Newtown, there are good people out there trying to do everything they can to help. Last night, at Hostage Calm's record release party, all of the bands that performed, and Redscroll Records donated a bunch of test presses, tshirts, and all kinds of other good shit, and ran a raffle with all of the proceeds going to help the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting. Although it is a terrible time for the people affected, it is good to see things like this.

  4. Look at the worst case scenario. It flops out and you lose the money. You will still always be able to look back on this experience and always say that you took the chance.

That being said I'm sure that everything will go great and you'll have more release's in the years to come.

Couldn't agree with you more. Although I have no experience with in-depth business management or whatever, everything in life can be looked at as an experience to learn from, whether it turns out be good or bad.

OP: I wish you the best of luck, I gave your Facebook page a like and I hope all goes well!
