  10. Hey! So I decided to make a new thread with all of my current pieces. These all have the proper sizes and names. As some of you might know I've been working on some more art using primarily records (and record covers, adapters, jukebox strips, etc...). Again, forgive the photo quality, I didn't have a proper set up or a diffuser, they were rushed. The grooves look awesome in real life. I'll post a few at a time, so look throughout the thread! BLACK SKULL, 2013, grey marble and black vinyl records on wood, 16 x 20 inches. YOU DRIVE US WILD, WE'LL DRIVE YOU CRAZY, 2013, black, red and yellow vinyl records on hardboard. I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL, 2013, photographic print, red vinyl records, 16 x 20 inches. GOLD SKULL, 2013, black and gold marble vinyl records on wood,16 x 20 inches. 11. “The DeLucas pressed Tony’s remains into 12 vinyl records: One for each member of the family. But little did they know he would return…” I’m not exactly sure if GFK was aware of this when he wrote Rise of the Ghostface Killah but UK based company And Vinyly is offering to press your ashes into vinyl records. £3000 will get you 30 12″ discs with up to 24 minutes of music of your choice. 14. Release date is 5/13/2013 Import from the UK. New and never played double LP from Rise Above Records (vinyl color unknown). "CHURCH OF MISERY was founded by Tatsu Mikami (bass guitar) back in 1995. After the breakup of his leading thrash metal band SALEM, a band that had toured in the UK several times and received critical acclaim from metal fans and press alike. Tatsu decided to start his own solo project. He wanted to do something that reflected his other musical inspirations - doom metal and doom rock. Apart from metal and thrash, he was strongly influenced by doom bands like SAINT VITUS, BLACK SABBATH and became aware that his own riffs had started to include doom vibes. Also, he was very much into late 60s/early 70s heavy rock material like LEAF HOUND, NOVEMBER, MAY BLITZ, HIGH TIDE, GUN, BLUE OYSTER CULT and so on. It was natural for him to shift his musical direction from metal to a more rock-influenced style. Since then, Church of Misery have gained a cult reputation around the world, frequently touring in Europe/US and have shared the stage with famed and infamous western bands such as SAINT VITUS, CATHEDRAL, EYEHATEGOD, ELECTRIC WIZARD, ORANGE GOBLIN, FIREBIRD, THE GATES OF SLUMBER, DEATH ROW, ANGEL WITCH, etc. etc. Also, they have appeared in renowned metal/rock festivals in Europe/USA such as Roadburn (Holland), Hellfest (France), and Maryland Deathfest (USA) to date. Back with a brand new studio album, titled THE KINGDOM SCUM , Church of Misery are set to invade UK and European shores once to an ever growing fanbase of Sabbath worshipping serial killer obsessed fans. You have been warned!" TRACKLIST 1. B.T.K. (Dennis Rader) 2. Lambs to the Slaughter (Ian Brady/Myra Hindley) 3. Brother Bishop (Gary Heidnik) 4. Cranley Gardens (Dennis Andrew Nilsen) 5. 18. Okay so I'm leaning toward refunding a transaction, dude bought a rare, pretty expensive record through Discogs, Signed up same day he bought it, checked out w/o even asking a shipping price and then was fine w/ the $17 int'l cost. I invoiced him, and he said he tried to pay but he was unable, I've bought a bit off Discogs, but not sold much yet, so I'm not sure if this can actually happen, but it never happened to me when buying. But just in case I sent another invoice, he said the same thing plus he called paypal and that they told him I'd have to invoice him manually, so I did this through pp and he said he couldn't pay cause his transaction was flagged, so he called pp again, they told him the transaction was flagged at random, not cause there was anything wrong with either account. I said forget the invoice just use 'send money' and make sure to send as payment for goods and I would cover the fees. The money appeared but he sent it as a gift, and said via email that's the only way it would work and asked me to cancel the invoice I'd sent. Is this even possible? Dude had no feedback so I was thinking of chipping an extra $4 just to get tracking but I don't think tracking is even any good if he claims unauthorized transaction. I do *not* want to be out the record and the money. Thinking of just refunding the guy, so I sent him an email explaining that I might have to issue a refund because paying as a gift does not provide seller protection.
  19. Secondhand Sureshots - A documentation about five producers get five dollars each to spend on five records in a thrift store. There records will then be used as sample material to make beats. Simple as that. Enjoy! http://www.trustinwax.com/secondhand-sureshots/

Loved them so much that I bought their whole catalog on vinyl...give them a listen and see if you dig them too. Kind of a folky twangy Neil Youngy kind of deal going on! For 6 lps (5 albums - the newest being a 2lp), I paid 82 bucks shipped. not bad! looks like there is about 20 copies of each left in the store. Had to share this with VC http://frontierruckus.portmerch.com/stores/home.php

  25. Hello board, This is my first post. Recently my record label has gotten it's shit together and we're finally selling our material more frequently. I have no idea how to handle pricing international orders. I have someone in japan who wants to buy 4 tapes and I have someone in Sweeden who wants to buy 4 records. What is the best and cheapest way to send these? Are there quick ways to estimate these costs? I am sure there has been threads about this already, but I am new. Word up! This forum seems rad.
