I didn't think to post this when the pre-orders went up but the 2 color variants of the lp which were limited to 200 each sold out pretty quickly. But if anyone is interested, the first color they had listed is now back up at Beyond Beyond Is Beyond Records Milky clear & bronze haze with a poster is $22. I can't imagine they have many left. CPR-16: HOLY SONS "Lost Decade II" LP + DIGITAL DOWNLOAD Hidden away in a virtual cave during the 90's, Emil Amos (Om, Grails, Lilacs & Champagne) amassed a catalog of over 1000 songs, never submitting any of them to a label or playing live. Working tirelessly in basements across North Carolina, he used the 4-track as a radical therapeutic device to unravel various psychological conflictions and capture an ongoing spiritual implosion on tape. 15 Years after the first volume of songs from that era was released ["Lost Decade" in '99], a second volume has been dug out and rescued from endless piles of cassettes. These guys have been around awhile and I think they're really underrated. 1st 500 of these come on white vinyl w/ a CD of the 44 minute recording session they did on a farm w/ Steve Strohemeier(Arbouretum) & Greg Fox(Guardian Alien) that was also turned into a 18 minute short film which I've linked below. Looks like Drag City will be reissuing Sun Araw's 2010 LP On Patrol on September 17! I fell in love with that hazy, drugged-out, beach-drone sound after playing a lot of Hotline Miami. When I stumble across original pressings they're up in the $50 range, so it will be nice to have an option that is a little more affordable.
