  2. I mostly bring a messenger bag with my laptop and a bit of paperwork around for work, but mine is just totally done, so I'm looking for something new. Anyone have one they really like? Some preferences: -under $100 -possibly orderable/available in canada -doesn't need to be leather -don't care about colour -fits a 13 inch laptop -shoulder strap rather than just a handle
  3. So i was wondering if anyone out there has a job that is just perfect for a collector? Maybe you work for an artist, or play in a band, or even just intern for a label... or maybe you just steal from the post office. I didn't get into collecting until a couple years ago, but for the past 10 years I have worked in the music industry. Between playing in a band, being a merchandise manager for other artists, tour manager / guitar tech for various tours, and even working at hot topic in my early 20s. All of these occupations helped me score some pretty sweet records. Share your story. Or don't.
  4. Does anybody on here have a job in the music industry? (anything really, whether working with a label, at a pressing plant, whatever) If so, how did you get into it? For those of you that work with smaller labels (Thomas, Flood), how did you get started? Just give me all the information you can. I want to either get a job doing something involved with music someday, or start a label, or something. Just FYI I have a BS in Business Management and minor in music and I'm hoping my degree will help me out somehow. But seriously, any insight would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Does anybody else on here work 3rd shift? Cause lemmie tell you, it sucks!
