Anyway, this absolutely rips and we've got it hand numbered and on split Red/Silver vinyl! Sign up today and keep your eyes on your email!

Advertisement First up for our exclusives we've got Jawbreaker's 1992 landmark "Bivouac". Hard to spell even if you know how to say it, hard to say if you've only seen it written and extremely easy to listen to. Hell, even Rolling Stone had the good sense to list it in their top ten "Emo" records of all time. A pretty limiting genre description but you gotta take the acknowledgment where you can get it sometimes. If "Chesterfield King" doesn't move you, nothing will. These are limited to just 550 hand numbered copies on Metallic Gold vinyl. These will not be repressed on this color again. TWENTY FIVE YEARS OLD. This record is TWENTY FIVE YEARS OLD this year! That keeps happening to me lately. Why are all these new records turning 25 years old? Kid Dynamite only put out two full length LP's and it's impossible to overstate how powerful and influential they still remain. KD rose from the ashes of Lifetime with Dan and David teaming up with Jason Shevchuk and Steve Ferrell for their debut. There are fragments of Kid Dynamite's DNA in every melodic hardcore band to emerge in the last 25 years. If they say there isn't, they lyin'. This is their debut LP and you can't start anywhere better than the start. These are limited to just 350 hand numbered copies on "Dragonfruit" vinyl. These will not be repressed on this color again. This is the smallest print run of any color vinyl edition this record has ever had! WE SHOULDA DONE MORE!
  3. Hey All, As per usual we are by appointment only on Record Store Day from 8am to Noon. Check out https://1234gorecords.com/rsd2023 to see available appointments now. We often have last minute cancellations so even if you don't see something now it's possible something will show up. From Noon to 6pm we'll be taking walk up customers as normal. Showing up after Noon does not mean we'll be emptied out or even out of stock on the more popular titles. We get GREAT fill on our orders and often have more supply than the bigger shops in town so we're a great place to start your day whenever you feel like starting it. If you live out of town and can't come in on Record Store Day we post all our leftovers on our website at 5am Pacific on Sunday April 23rd. Setting an alarm is VERY worth it. Every year we help hundreds of people pick up records their local shops were missing at no additional mark up. The link below will not become active until just before 5am on Record Store Day. Feel free to save it now but nothing will be visible at the moment. You will have to hit refresh at 5am to update the page. https://1234gorecords.shop/collections/rsd2023 As we get closer to the day we'll announce a few more special things for those who can come out on the day that will likely be available for online folks as well so definitely stay tuned and make plans to see us in real life or online!
  4. Limted to 1000 hand numbered copies and only available from us! Once they're gone, they're gone for good! Neither record has another color edition on the market for the forseeable future! Hit https://1234gorecords.shop/collections/1-2-3-4-go-exclusives to shop now!
  5. We're down to the last copies on our most recent exclusives for those of you who haven't snagged them yet. All domestic orders over $75 ship for free. Hit https://1234gorecords.shop/collections/1-2-3-4-go-exclusives to check out what's left. As of this posting we have NOFX "So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes" Samiam "Stowaway" Chat Pile "God's Country" Poison Idea "Pick Your King" The Network "Money Money 2020" The Mutants "Curse of the Easily Amused" We've got some pretty big names coming up for the next round starting later this month so subscribe to our email list if you haven't already. https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/1pYIXcp/thelist
  6. Our latest exclusives are about to go up for sale next week. Sign up for our mailing list to get first crack! We'll be sending out a private link to buy when we're ready to drop em! https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/1E0PKAU
  7. Hey All, We're continuing to do appointments from 8am to Noon as this proved to be an incredibly popular way of managing the crowds and insure no one has to wait in any line longer than a few minutes. We still have some appointments left over at https://1234gorecords.com/rsd2022. I can say with no hyperbole that this year we are getting the best fill we have ever gotten. Top to bottom. It's kind of incredible. We'll have more than enough copies of the most popular releases to last throughout the day and have leftovers for those of you who are out of town. Speaking of which, leftovers will go up on our website at 5am April 24th. We'll start shipping that day and hope to have every order on the road by the end of the week. This is going to be a GREAT year to check in with us first. We're going to announce something truly special closer to the day so you're really going to want to keep your eyes peeled and in the mean time sign up for our mailing list. The mailing list gets first crack at info and ordering for our exclusives and more. Hit the following link to sign up now! https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/1E0PKAU
  8. Hey all, The second and final RSD Drop of 2021 is tomorrow! We still have some appointments left for those of you in the area who want to come by before Noon and we will be accepting walk up customers from Noon to 8pm tomorrow otherwise. Book now by CLICKING HERE Although there are no mask mandates in this area at this time we are encouraging folks to wear them in the shop when you come in. It is not a requirement but we believe there's no harm in a little extra caution. If for some reason you don't have a mask available we have high quality 3-ply masks you can have. Once again it is not a requirement but we are encouraging it. We'll have hand sanitizer, our 2 high quality HEPA filters going and solid fresh airflow in the space the entire time so we should be in good shape as always. In lighter more exciting RSD news we've got our own special RSD release just for our shop coming out tomorrow! It's a live 10" from The Upside Downers! Who are those guys? Well, it's Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day, The Longshot, The Network), Jason White (Green Day, The Influents), Greg Schneider (The Influents) and Chris Dugan (The Cover-Ups)! Recorded in the before times at The Golden Bull in Oakland this is a four song cover set featuring songs from The Sweet, Big Star, The Monkees and Cheap Trick. We've made 500 hand numbered copies on Clear w/ Green & Pink splatter that are only available from us. Don't live in the area? Don't fret! You can pick up this and any leftover RSD releases we have on our website at 8:30pm Pacific by CLICKING HERE! All domestic orders over $60 ship via Media Mail for FREE and we have Priority mail available at an added cost. ‌ Steve @ 1-2-3-4 Go! Records
  9. Hey All, We're changing things up a bit this time out. The biggest change is that we will start selling any titles we have more than 10 of at 1pm Pacific on our website located at www.1234gorecords.com/rsdjune2021. We are getting really good fill on many of the best titles so expect to see a nice selection up then. At 8:30pm we'll be putting everything else up on the site. If you make two orders we will combine them at shipment time and issue refunds of any excessive shipping costs. We'll be open 8am to 8pm as we normally are on RSD events however we are by appointment only until Noon and then we'll be taking walk ups from then on out. Appointments have sold out for the first drop. A week or so after the first drop we'll be announcing how we're going to handle the July drop. The state of california is loosening restrictions after this first drop and we're feeling out if we want to keep appointments going forward because it seems to be a lot nicer to just know when you can come in rather than wait for hours in line. Anyway, we'll see how this first one goes! Hope to see you out there and do not be scared to come down after noon. We have great fill and will likely have most of what you're looking for!
  10. Hey all! We are by appointment only this Friday and we still have appointments available if you haven't booked one yet Masks covering your nose and mouth are required and strictly enforced at all times. If you show up with a bandana, mask with a valve or gaiter mask you will be given a 3ply mask to wear over it or instead. This isn't negotiable. We also provide hand sanitizer and gloves. Our two high quality HEPA air filters will be running on high the entire day and we have great fresh air flow through our front and back doors. Between the two we have constant fresh and clean air in the shop and with your help we'll finish this last RSD event strong! Each appointment is 20 minutes long and only 6 people are allowed in the shop at a time. This is well below 25% of our capacity. 20 minutes is a lot longer than you think and most folks are in and out in about 15. Appointments later in the day do not equal quality releases being out of stock. Especially this time out. We'd normally serve 2 or 3 times as many folks as we can this time out and we often have great stock all day long. Leftovers will once again be up on our website at 8:30pm after we close at http://www.1234gorecords.com/recordstoreday If you'd like to book an appointment please head to https://1234gorecords.com/blackfriday
  11. Hey All, Obviously with the ongoing pandemic we have to shake things up around here but we feel like we've found a fairly good solution. Barring any mishaps we are offering appointments for specific 20 minute time slots with a maximum of 5 people in the shop at a time. We did this to eliminate the need for a line at all and to maximize the number of people we can safely bring in to the shop. We're a little late coming here to tell you all so unfortunately we're already sold out for in store shopping this month but I did want to say that leftovers (and we expect a TON) will be available on our website www.1234gorecords.com shortly after we close at 8pm. If I get an exact time I will come back and post that but I'm assuming some time between 8:15 and 8:45 at the latest. We are going to see how this all goes this month before moving forward with next month. We'll be making the announcement about September within a week after August 29th so we can make adjustments if needed. We'll do three days of warnings/announcements on social media ahead of the appointments going up so hopefully we can avoid a situation where people feel blindsided. I'm not sure what else I can do beyond that given everything that's at play. Anyway thank you all for your continued interest and support. We'd be sunk without you!
  12. We are very excited to announce we are re-issuing the Big Rig "Expansive Heart" 7" original on Lookout! Records. Big Rig was a very short lived project from Jesse Michaels (Operation Ivy, Common Rider, Classics of Love), Doug Sangalang (Screw 32, Limp, One Time Angels), Kevin Cross (The Nerve Agents, Pitch Black), Jeremy Goody (Pitch Black) and Brandon Riggen. This was Jesse's first recorded project post Operation Ivy and the band rose and fell very quickly in 1993. They played a single show and left behind a demo and this EP. Order now at www.1234gorecords.com/1234goreleases This is a vastly under appreciated piece of east bay punk, a hidden gem of the Lookout catalog and personally one of my favorite records. We’re producing 1000 total copies housed in a faithful reproduction of the original 8 panel booklet/sleeve. 800 copies are available on WHITE vinyl and 200 on "Highway Strip" color vinyl. We expect these to start shipping on or around October 1st. Revolver will have these available for wholesale if you're a store or distro. Info from them is coming soon.
  13. Hey All, Looking to blow out the few remaining copies of some Black Friday releases so we've knocked down the prices of pretty much everything but a few items that actually showed up this week. Have a look at whats left over at http://www.1234gorecords.com/recordstoreday
  14. Hey All, Black Friday is November 29th this year and both of our shops will be open 8am to 8pm. We'll be handing out raffle tickets to everyone in line first thing in the morning and we'll draw a winner for a $100 gift certificate the next day. Come see us at 1-2-3-4 Go! Records 420 40th Street #5 Oakland, CA 94609 and 1-2-3-4 Go! Records SF 1038 Valencia Street SF, CA 94110 Leftovers will be up on our website at 5am Saturday the 30th in accordance with RSD rules. Bookmark this link http://1234gorecords.com/recordstoreday. The items are set to automatically trigger at exactly 5am so hit refresh as soon as your clock hits 5 and you should be all good. We believe all these items should all fit on the same page. However if you notice the alphabet suddenly stops at some point hit that Mail Order drop down up top and you'll see a link to the rest. I really don't think we'll need to do that but just in case, check out that drop down.
  15. Hello all! Here's our annual RSD thread! RSD is here a week early for some odd reason but the other details are the same as always. Both shops are open 8am to 8pm and we'll have hundreds of RSD exclusive releases on hand as always and a few really cool things to give away. First; we've got a test pressing for the Green Day "Woodstock 1994" LP to raffle off. All you have to do to enter is buy a copy of the regular Woodstock LP from us and we'll pick a winner Monday the 15th! It is currently not autographed by anyone but we're hoping to get that changed before RSD. Secondly; we've got a Mastodon test press for their RSD release! Same rules apply as the Green Day give away and a winner will be contacted Monday the 15th THIRDLY!; The first 100 people in line in at either location will be signed up for a raffle to win a $100 gift certificate. Winners will be contacted Monday the 15th. FOURTHLY!!!; This isn't a giveaway but our next door neighbor Tacos Oscar will be open early for brunch/lunch so bring your appetites. If you haven't been to his place we can't recommend it enough. Check out this MASSIVE spread he got in the SF chronicle! https://www.sfchronicle.com/food/article/Tacos-Oscar-s-unlikely-road-to-success-in-13450091.php Oh and of course the first person in line at either location gets 5 minutes in the shop alone from 7:55am to 8am! IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR OUR LEFTOVERS Leftovers will be up at http://1234gorecords.com at 5am PST on Sunday the 14th. You'll find the RSD pages under the mail order tab right at the top. We are now running this out of a squarespace store instead of our janky old webstore so you can use credit cards or paypal if you like. We tested this out on Black Friday and it worked like a dream. Processing time on the orders was greatly reduced as well so we're faster than ever! Rules of the mail order road, please and thank you. 1. Please try to condense everything you want in to one order. We can try to combine orders if you place two but we may also miss it because we're processing hundreds of orders in a very short amount of time. 2. PLEEEEEEEASE don't place an order, freak out that you might not get something, order from some place else and then cancel with us. That's such a bummer. The inventory in our store should be accurate. If it's still up in the store, we still have stock. If we experience an oversell on something we will be in touch ASAP but that didn't happen more than a handful of times last year out of hundreds of orders. 3. If you have questions about an order, Please email [email protected] We won't be doing customer service stuff in this thread or even checking it that often as we'll be working like crazy to get your orders out in a timely manner. Finally, Know we love you and are working very hard to get your orders out as quickly as possible. Also know that it's two people working on this and we aren't Amazon so while it will go quickly it won't be same day shipping. Last year I think we got everything out withing 5 or 6 days total. You will recieve an email from us when your order ships with your tracking info in it the second it ships. Squarespace and our shipping software are really great about this. Overall we've got a pretty great reputation around these parts for the most part I think so don't be scurred. We're going to take care of you and it's going to be great. Thanks everyone! You guys really make the dream work for us post RSD and it's greatly appreciated!
  16. Hey All! We've got some cool stuff going on this weekend we wanted to tell you about if you're in the bay area and a small change being made to our post RSD/Black Friday mail order system. MAIL ORDER FOR BLACK FRIDAY LEFTOVERS First of all since I think most of you count on us for mail order of these sorts of things we have changed our webcart system this time out. We can now accept paypal AND credit cards for all orders placed at http://www.1234gorecords.com/blackfriday2018 . It's a typical squarespace store system so it's super easy to use. Should be a lot smoother than years past. We have everything we'll have left scheduled to hit the store at 5am PST and it will all go up at once so there won't be any confusion or difficulty in ordering. We have staff on hand to start shipping Saturday morning and we should be able to clear them out really quickly. I think for the most part our reputation precedes us on quantity and quality so make sure to set your alarms! BLACK FRIDAY Both of our shops will be open from 8am to 8pm. We have over 100 BF RSD releases on hand and starting Friday through the end of the weekend all of our markdown LP's are buy one get one free. There are a TON of great records in there right now with more being added this week. It's just stuff we ordered too many of or hung out in the store just a little too long. Even if you don't care about this RSD stuff it's a good idea to come by and check this out. SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY WITH JOHN DOE! The inimitable John Doe will be with us playing live at 2pm on Saturday November 24th for Small Business Saturday! John will be performing a solo set and doing a signing of the limited edition “Kid Doe” 12” EP that is being released for Black Friday this year. By pre-ordering a copy with us you ensure your place inside our venue space for the show and signing. Space is limited and so are copies of the EP so pre-order today. Please print out your receipt and bring it to the store on either Friday November 23rd or the day of the event Saturday November 24th to pick up your record. No copies will be shipped. ORDER NOW CLICKING HERE! Punk legend and X co-founder John Doe has spent decades building a career that spans across various genres and even formats, with dozens of acting credits in fi lm and TV. Particle Kid is the musical identity of singer-songwriter, musician, and visual artist Micah Nelson, who - despite his young age - has an equally impressive resume. The two have played together at Willie Nelson's Luck Reunion festival and the iconic Pappy & Harriet's in Joshua Tree, CA, as well as sharing the stage for a tribute to The Doors at the Founders Award ceremony. On this split release, the two artists cover each others' tunes with their own interpretation. As a bonus, John Doe covers a Carter Family favorite, and Particle Kid covers outsider folk hero Michael Hurley. The release is mastered at 45RPM and pressed on a 12'' gold color LP, exclusively for Black Friday. Come see us at... 1-2-3-4 Go! Records Oakland 420 40th Street #5 Oakland, CA 94609 1-2-3-4 Go! 18. Hello all! Here's our annual RSD thread! Hope you've all been well. I'm not sure quite how it happened but we went waaay bigger than last year it feels like so we've got a ton of stuff in house for the day. On top of all that we have been given an exclusive alternate artwork edition of The Longshot 7" picture disc. Customized for us by Billie Joe Armstrong just for RSD. This version will only be available in our stores. If there are leftovers we will put them online but we expect them to go pretty fast. IF YOU'RE IN OAKLAND 8AM TO 8PM First person in line gets 5 minutes in the shop alone. First 100 folks in line get entered in to a raffle for a $100 gift certificate to be given away the following week. Tacos Oscar AND Aburaya Japanese Fried Chicken will be serving up the goods outside the shop!! Supercrush (https://supercrush.bandcamp.com/) from Seattle will be play for free around 3pm!! IF YOU'RE IN SF 8AM TO 8PM First person in line gets 5 minutes in the shop alone. First 100 folks in line get entered in to a raffle for a $100 gift certificate to be given away the following week. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR OUR LEFTOVERS Leftovers will be up at http://www.1234gorecords.com/catalog after we close on Saturday. I will update here with as accurate a time as possible. We have to reconcile two stores inventory to make sure everything is up and accurate but that usually only takes an hour or so. Rules of the mail order road. 1. Please make sure your address is correct in your paypal account. We ship directly from paypal and they automatically input whatever address you have in there. If it isn't correct in your paypal account we may not catch it. 2. Please try to condense everything you want in to one order. We can try to combine orders if you place two but we may also miss it because we're processing hundreds of orders in a very short amount of time. 3. 4. Oh and tracking will be available in your paypal account once we've shipped. If it's not there, we haven't gotten to it yet. We've got a pretty great reputation around these parts for the most part I think so don't be scurred. We're going to take care of you and it's going to be great. Thanks everyone! You guys really make the dream work for us post RSD and it's greatly appreciated! Oh hey, one last thing, our Oakland shop just turned TEN YEARS OLD this year! Thanks for your support over the years. We've got these snazzy anniversary shirts for sale right now in our Oakland shop and in our webstore if you're interested. HD Cotton shirts and a discharge print so the design will never crack or distort on you, unlike the band Discharge. Limited time only availability on those so if ya want one don't wait too long!
  19. Hey Everyone, Just wanted to post a run down of what to expect tomorrow at both our locations. HAPPENING IN BOTH SHOPS: Both shops are open from 8am to 8pm. First person in line gets 5 minutes in the shop alone. Limit one copy of each release per person. Sunday is a free for all. People in line by 8am will get a raffle ticket that will serve as their number to get in and a chance to win a $100 gift certificate. Drawing to be held on Sunday. Around 400 different RSD exclusives on hand. Yes we have that thing you want. No we can't do holds. Yes you should get here early but honestly coming later is fine too. Just don't get mad when the suuuuper limited thing you wanted is gone...but also don't be surprised if it isn't. RSD is weird. OAKLAND: 420 40th Street #5, Oakland, CA 94609 Free coffee from SubRosa and donuts by Donut Savant while supplies last. No Worries vegan Filipino food will be selling starting around 11am. Not entirely sure but I think we will have a chance for folks to win a free pair of Dr. Martens if they find a golden record in the shop. This is happening for sure in SF but haven't gotten clarification if it's in both shops yet. SF: 1038 Valencia Street, SF, CA 94110 A chance for folks to win a free pair of Dr. Martens if they find a golden record in the shop. Plus we'll have coupons that will get you 20% off at their shops anyway which ain't a shabby consolation prize. ONLINE: http://www.1234gorecords.com/catalog We'll have things up as quickly as possible. It's a bit of a process getting both stores inventory meshed but we do it pretty fast. I think there's a good deal of folks on here who can attest to the speed and quality in which we do things in that regard. Stay tuned here for more details. We process A LOT of orders after RSD and to avoid confusion we do ask that you take some time do/consider the following. 1. Make sure the address in your paypal matches the address you want stuff sent to. Throwing us weird curve balls may result in packages being sent to places you don't want them to be sent. Give us a hand and make it crystal clear. It takes very little time to have that lined up on your end. Please make sure it's accurate before you order. Changing it after doesn't always work. 2. Please understand that it's 2 people picking and packing these orders and we're not Amazon. It'll take us a few days to a week to get everything out depending on how many orders we get. Please don't order a bunch of stuff from us in the early Sunday AM and then write to cancel when you don't get a tracking number half an hour later. That's a real drag for everyone. We process this stuff as quickly as possible and are in touch pretty quickly if there's a problem so don't assume we must be out of something if you don't hear back immediately. We're working on it. 3. We love and appreciate y'all. Honestly.
  20. Black Friday or "Record Store Day Part II" is upon us! BOTH of our stores will be open from 8am to 8pm with tons of exclusive releases and deeply discounted sale items. 23. We are opening a second location in San Francisco on April 1st. No foolin'! More details coming next week but for now we're trying to raise a little money ahead of then by selling some Oakland and SF logo shirts, hoodies, slipmats and totebags in our webstore. http://www.1234gorecords.com/catalog. All prices include shipping and will ship out at the end of the month. Don't need something with our logo on it? We also need your help bringing in stock. We are looking to buy vinyl and tapes. Collections or a handful of stuff doesn't matter to us. Bring us all that stuff you haven't had luck with at swaps, stuff that's gathering dust in your house or things you're just sick of looking at to get cash or trade. We buy every day 11am to 8pm in our Oakland shop. Anyway, thanks everyone and stay tuned for more details! PS: Record Store Day is going to be KILLER in both locations.

  25. Twin Steps have been impressing us pretty consistently since we became aware of them last year. They have a truly impressive live show and an uncanny ability to infuse elements of classic soul, pop, and experimental rock 'n' roll. The outcome is a surreal blend of surfy guitar licks, syrupy '60's pop melodies with intricate drum beats, and yelping harmonies. Modernity from tradition, unbridled joy on a plane of tonal madness. We've got a brand new 7" single titled "Plague Songs" come from then August 13th as well as a very limited cassette release which features the two songs from the 7" paired with their 10" EP "Serial Parade" and a special unreleased bonus track to boot! Both are available for pre-order now in our webstore by clicking this handy if a bit long link http://catalog.1234gorecords.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=twin+steps You can also stream both tracks from the single and do a digital pre-order over on BandCamp by going to this link http://1234gorecords.bandcamp.com/album/twin-steps-plague-songs .
