  1. I just went through my Discogs inventory and reduced the prices on some of the higher value stuff. I'm having a boy or a girl (due date two weeks) and figured I'd try to move some stuff that I probably won't play. There may be some whales if you collect any of the tagged artists and there's a lot more. I'm willing to make deals with folks on here (especially for multiples) and would entertain a trade or two, but ultimately I'm trying to save money and clear some space. https://www.discogs.com/seller/lindermanr/profile I've got some other random things like prints and Garbage Pail Kids that I might post later.
  2. I just posted a bunch of stuff on eBay. I'm not creating this post to drum up interest in the auctions. If you're interested in any of these PM ASAP and I'll end the auction so long as noone's bid on them yet (which I wouldn't expect to happen for at least 4-6 days.) If you're interested in multiples, I'll gladly reduce the total cost. Most of these are less than I originally paid to the label when they were released. http://www.ebay.com/usr/nerdrocker13 Also feel free to pore through my Discogs listings if you want to tack on some more stuff. https://www.discogs.com/seller/lindermanr/profile
  3. I have the 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 boxes. All are complete and 95% unplayed and include most or all test pressings in most cases. I prefer to not break up the box sets. The total retail (and time spent monitoring my email for test pressings) on these was pretty high, so I'd much rather trade, but will consider all offers. 2012 Boxset (23 flexis; only missing the Lou Barlow TP) Lou Barlow Make Believe Jad Fair Danielson Deerhoof Dead Rider Rafter of Montreal Tortoise Racebannon Akron/Family Richard Swift 2013 Boxset (25 flexis; all test pressings and Rob Crow misprint) Here We Go Magic Rob Crow Monotonix Mike Adams at His Honest Weight Son Lux Why? 4. New album coming in June. Several pre order bundles available. https://www.polyvinylrecords.com/product/the_magic
  5. https://www.polyvinylrecords.com/store/deerhoof_the_magic Standard version on clear purple, deluxe on purple/white starburst and an "exclusive covers cassette mixtape," purple shell tape. Two songs streaming on that link, sounds like the logical follow-up to La Isla Bonita. They're going on an extensive US tour immediately following the release: https://www.polyvinylrecords.com/tour/deerhoof
  6. Joyful Noise Recordings is releasing a "Flexi-Book" edition of Deerhoof's upcoming album, La Isla Bonita. The spiral-bound book contains each song from the new album on transparent, single-sided square 7" Flexi Discs (aka flexible vinyl) plus a flexi-only bonus song. Only available to Joyful Noise VIPs and is limited to a one-time pressing of 500. Price is $30 plus shipping. Here are some pictures: Here's a video of how it works: If you haven't heard the record yet, you can stream it here on NPR First Listen: http://www.npr.org/2014/10/26/357630675/first-listen-deerhoof-la-isla-bonita
  7. In Sixths b/w Field and Border 7" available now: http://voicecoils.bandcamp.com/ These were on pre-order for a while, but it looks like there is a preview track up, the pre-order portion of the description was removed, so they must be shipping now. NYC band, sounds kind of like Deerhoof meets Kayo Dot, for fans of experimental/avant-garde rock. IMO this is the best 7" release of 2014 (at least so far) so I highly recommend checking this out and picking it up. It's not very expensive, and includes a digital download in the format(s) of your choosing.
