  1. Hi everyone, I'm looking for a sleeve for my Witchfinder General Death Penalty LP on translucent red vinyl, from the first pressing in 1982. I know it's probably a longshot but if anyone can guide me towards where to find one or by chance has a sleeve, feel free to replay. Thanks!

  3. I found the album Abbey Road in a garage sale last sunday and I can't find it on the internet. There are no pictures of this sleeve or this label. It's a PCS 7088 pressing from 1969 Can you help me to find the same one or give me information ? PICTURES I know the sleeve is in bad shape. Have you ever seen this sleeve with the "EMI Apple" logo (top left corner) and the "Full dimensional stereo also playable in Mono" logo ? Alright on this side. Do you know a version of this album with a folded sleeve ? Moreover, I noticed that "Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse International Ltd" was blacked out. I can't find a version of this label. There is no Made in U.K or Mfd in U.K written. This version has "Production by GEORGE MARTIN" written before the name of the tracks. Then there is this weird "Stereo & Mono" o.O Finally, it's usualy a circle around the "P" before the date no ? Can you share your information (if you have some) so I'll know if it was worth it to wake up that sunday... Thank you
  4. Hey all. I ordered a 5th pressing SHVL 804 Dark Side of the Moon overseas in England and received it about 2 weeks ago, the shipping box bent as if somebody put their foot down on one end and pulled it up on the other. I finally opened it after many emails to the seller and him explaining there is nothing he can do since it happened during the shipping process. Anyways, I opened it, my sleeve badly warped but I played the record anyways. Most of the tracks sound pretty good except for the inner tracks (Great Gig on side A and Brain Damage/Eclipse on the B side) which have some major distortion, partly due to my crappy Pioneer PL-990 (I am getting a Shure M97xE to properly set up on our old Technics SL-B2 which has been sitting dormant without a cartrige) and partly due to a slight "cymbal" like warp to the thing. I haven't had that much IGD on any other record of mine, but I still want to keep this one. Anyways, since I'm keeping this, any ideas on how to flatten this record sleeve so that when I look at it my stomach doesn't churn like it did when I first saw the shipping box? I've set it under large books for a few days, flipping it over under them, opening the gatefold and putting one book under one half of that side and one on top to bend it the opposite way. All of this did absolutely NOTHING. I guess the cardboard material was just more resilient back then. Here's the album I posted on Imgur for /r/vinyl: http://imgur.com/a/lfIkF Keep in mind that I was pretty pissed off when I posted this so there might be some bashing of the seller, but I'm somewhat over it now.
  5. I have the jacket from the original pressing of You'd Prefer An Astronaut up on ebay. I lost the actual record, I think my ex stole it but I'm selling just the jacket in case anyone needs a replacement. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hum-Youd-Prefer-An-Astronaut-LP-Jacket-From-Original-Pressing-/251298471287?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item3a828e5d77
  6. I want to order some "Blake Sleeves" from clearbags.com but their shipping costs are pretty high to Canada. Curious if anyone is interested in doing a bulk purchase from clearbags.com. I'm ordering 500 of the BLP1, they also have a non-flap version. Anyways, I'm probably going to order in the next day or two so let me know if you have any interest in doing a bulk order, preferably in Calgary, AB, Canada. http://www.clearbags.com/12-11-16-x-12-3-8-flap-crystal-clear-album-cover-protective-closure-100-pieces-blp1.html
