  1. The legendary kings of the catchy poppunk will release their full length album “Until We Hit The Shore” on April 21st. The new song that just got released got me all stoked, just like hearing them for the first time in 1997. Perfect song for the summer. Travoltas - Dying To Do That With You video Pre-oders are live now for both the CD and LP. 100 copies on blue vinyl avialible here: http://whiterussianrecords.nl/site/?product_cat=preorders
  2. Disclaimer: All cassettes posted for sale are deemed 'awesome' by me. So I've fancied the compact cassette format for a while and as you can see, I still bought new ones even up through about 2004 or so. Pretty much if a record store still had a rack of tapes hiding in the corner I'd take a peek at them as the cd onlookers snickered. And of the ones I still have here, they are some pretty good ones. Almost all should be USA pressings and a few of these are harder to find than the loch ness monster. 9. I have some random stuff that I am unloading because I would like to buy some other random stuff...and my paypal balance is currently at zero dollars. Once I have enough funds to grab the items on my wish list, many items on this list will stop being for sale because I am a hoarder and hesitate to sell things! If there is a price listed, it does not include shipping, so please add $4 to that. If there is no price, make me an offer and we can negotiate shipping into that. If you buy multiples, I will do my best to make shipping free and - lastly - if you don't like a price, let's deal. If you're interested in anything on my trade list, I will consider some offers from there as well: trade list like whoa Jonny Craig - "Find What You Love And Let It Kill You" Test Press #3/24 One Year Later - "Life Between The Lies" Test Press #22/24 OFFER Deafheaven - "Sunbather" (Black w/ Silver Splatter, Tour Exclusive) OFFER Veronica Falls - "s/t" (Black) $18 Chiodos - "R2ME2/Let Me Get You A Towel" RSD 7"(Transparent Green) $5 Cave In - "Until Your Heart Stops" (Black, RSD) $20 Matt Pryor - "Confidence Man" (Coke Bottle Blue) $10 Botch - "We Are The Romans" (Black) $20 The Sound Of Animals Fighting - "Lover The Lord Has Left Us" (Black, 180g) $20 *sealed* Jesu - "Opiate Sun" (Transparent Red) $10 DVDs The Office Season 1 $5 The Office Season 2 $5 The Office Season 3 $5 The Office Season 5 $5 All Four Seasons Of The Office: $15 Grey's Anatomy Season 1 $4 Grey's Anatomy Season 2 $4 Both Seasons Of Grey's: $5 It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 4 $5 It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 5 $5 Both Seasons Of It's Always Sunny: $7 Glee Season 1: $5

PSYCH FOR SORE EYES VOL. 2 (Limited double 7'') "Fine, fine news for a Friday, and especially one so auspiciously psychedelic as the opening day of the Liverpool International Festival Of Psychedelia 2014. Sonic Cathedral will be following up last year's Psych For Sore Eyes compilation, a now highly sought-after six-tracker featuring contributions from Hookworms, The Vacant Lots and Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, with a second edition, out today to mark the festival's beginning. It's a double 7" affair with a further six new tracks from Morgan Delt, White Fence, Damaged Bug, Psychic Ills, Prayer Meeting and Hills; with the latter gracing the stage tomorrow, SC have kindly given us a first play of their contribution, 'Montelius Väg' - listen above. Additionally, bask in the glory of the artwork from four separate angles below. It's been created by London-based printmakers Heretic, who've previously created posters for Quietus gigs and will be providing the visuals for The Happening, the record's launch today. But before then, it's now available from Piccadilly Records' World Of Psychedelic Wax Wonders, while any remaining copies will be put out through Sonic Cathedral's online shop on Monday, with a digital edition following on November 3." 12. "French fuzz punks LOS DOS HERMANOS have a brand new 7″ titled Alienor on Six Tonnes De Chair Records. The wax is limited to 150 copies (75 on green vinyl, 75 on red), including a B-side medley of Ty Segall covers. Following their crushingdebut on Howlin’ Banana Records, the Bordeaux duo is back again with their fuzz-fucked surf punk. “Alienor” is their own scuzzy track, littered with buzzy guitar hooks and crashing percussion. Boy-girl vocals sound totally concentrated, almost like the duo is howling from the inside of a deep cavern. Sharp guitar shrills cut through trippy strobe light textures, sealing up a completely relentless track. On the B-side the band covers two classic Ty Segall tracks, namely “Standing At the Station” and “Oh Mary.” They’re brief but completely awesome, closing out the 7″ with two jagged slabs of gritty pop. Grab this 7″ now because they’re not going to last long!" 13. http://www.cargo-records.de/en/item/60395/katalog_art.123.html This deserves its own thread. According to the link above (which I hope like hell is accurate) the first LP will have the original CD track listing which includes "Plasitc" and doesn't stick "You Wish" in the middle of the LP as opposed to at the end of the CD. An excellent choice for a closing track which deserves to be at the end of the album as originally intended. I think the dude who cut the first vinyl press of this was high as fuck when he did it. Second LP is a collection of live tracks. If that track list is true, I'm all over this. Obligatory "hoping for black vinyl" sentiment.
  14. lets spitball some ideas. i think it would be cool to do, you'd get a record from your wantlist to your door once a month. i guess sort of similar to secret santa, except a record a month, different people each month would be matched up (each pairing announced at the first of the month). We would go off of df wantlists for what we'd get. just an idea!

  16. I'm putting out the debut LP for an awesome North Carolina band called TOTALLY SLOW. The band features ex members of Rights Reserved, Eagle Bravo, Decoration Ghost, Manamid and a few others. TOTALLY SLOW makes me think of 80s California punk ala Agent Orange, Adolescents, Descendents mixed with early Lookout! Records bands and maybe even influenced by 90s indie/punk ala Archers of Loaf and early Superchunk. Fun, surfy, and thoughtful punk. The LP is being released jointly, by SELF AWARE and HEADFIRST! Records. It will be limited to 500 copies on clear red vinyl. Preorders are now up, so check it out please!!! This band does not dissapoint. http://selfawarerecords.storenvy.com/products/1901684-totally-slow-s-t-12-lp-w-digital-download [selfawarerecords.storenvy.com] » (PREORDER) http://www.selfawarerecords.com [www.selfawarerecords.com] » http://headfirstrecords.limitedrun.com [headfirstrecords.limitedrun.com] »

  18. The download to Give's Voodoo Leather Cassette is up on their bandcamp page. The physical tape and 30p zine was limited to 200 and sold out with the quickness. This has 4 new songs, plus a re-recording of "Godspeeding", which was on their self-titled 12" EP. These guys one of the best bands out there today. http://givemusical.bandcamp.com/album/voodoo-leather-cassette-heartworm-press
  19. Deranged Records just released a US/Can press of Give's Singles Going Confetti 12". It contains all the songs from the recent I am Love, Flower Head and Petal Pushing 7"s, plus a new track "Pat Weird." The black vinyl version (/400) is now up in Give's webstore. There is also a white vinyl vesion (/100), 25 of which were given to the band who in turn gave them to Joint Custody in DC to sell. Not sure when it or other variants will go live in Deranged Records' store. http://moonflowerrecords.bigcartel.com/

  22. Fans and non-fans should probably go watch this if they want to see a MASTERFUL live performance. One of the best things I've watched in a while. http://audiotree.tv/session/caspian/
  23. I was helping a friend pick out a record player at our local Goodwill and sitting beside them was a little Sesame Street portable record player. It was 50% off so I figured what the hell and bought it for $3. It works great and actually has better sound than I thought it would have. Plays both 7" and LPs.
