Amazon has a preorder up for the new Dark Night Rises Soundtrack. Info says it's a single LP. It looks like the running time is about 45-50 minutes, so i guess that's possible. It's hard to say if this will be like The Dark Knight 2LP and be available a year later for less than $10 (yet, now way out of print) or like the Inception LP which now fetches over $200 on ebay. Hey gang, kind of a weird situation here. A while back I picked up Hans Zimmer's The Dark Knight OST from my local record store. It was marked down; while the records are new and unplayed, the sleeve has some pretty hardcore damage on the front. There are two small holes near the top left of the cover, and a large hole near the bottom right. This is in addition to several scratches along the bottom. This is just the cover, mind you; the gatefold and the back are completely untouched. While I know the damage is rather unsightly, I know how in-demand this album is for certain people, given that it's out of print. Both records are unplayed and seemingly unscathed.
