  1. The belt on my VT-E broke, which happens, but after putting on a replacement I'm noticing a massive wobble and shaking of the unit when it starts up. Once its going, it seems fine. So this may be nothing, but thought I would seek opinions as to if this is anything to worry about. What I THINK is happening, is that the belt is slipping on the palter until it gets going. Not sure if there's a good way to make the band or the plater more "grippy".
  2. I am having a pretty serious problem with my debut carbon, and cannot seem to find any Help or information from others with this issue. My table will not play records at normal speed when the platter is in place. I have tested the table with the platter off to make sure the issue is not with the belt or motor, and it is only when the platter is in place that the table has trouble getting to speed. It moves as if it cannot carry the weight of the platter, sluggish and slow or not at all. The pitch is either low or severely inconsistent. I have tried cleaning the table thoroughly numerous times, replacing the belt, and even got an acrylic platter. None of these have fixed the problem. Someone please Help me figure this out!
  3. I'll start off with a little bit of back story to catch everyone up. I purchased a Zenith A947 record player about 3-4 months ago. Everything about the record player worked fine at first until just within the last couple weeks me and my friends started noticing that at random moments songs would slow down for just a second before continuing to play like normal. It wasn't until today that one of my friends woke me up saying that the record playing was spinning really slow and now it won't play records correctly at all. I'm wondering if this is a problem with the belt maybe or what could be wrong with it? I can't seem to find out how to take the plate off to see underneath maybe if anyone could help me with that? Thanks!
