  1. Excellent condition throughout with original box and packing material. 9” Evolution carbon fiber arm, Clamp It, upgraded Connect It cables, and heavier counterweight. Ortofon 2M Red cartridge aligned and ready to go! Mahogany finish. Located in Brooklyn, NY. Would of course prefer a local deal, but have no problem shipping. Asking $1150 shipped or $1100 local, PayPal only and will include the fees in that. Thanks!
  2. So I recently got a used pro-ject debut carbon that doesn't have the ground wire for the phono preamp. I'm wondering if what kind of wire matters in terms of using it for a grounding wire or if anything will do. It's going to be connected to my bellari vp130. Just wanted to know if I should grab any kind of wire from home depot or order something specific from amazon.
  3. I've had my Debut Carbon for a few years now, and I'm thinking about upgrading my setup. Here's what I have currently: Pro-Ject Debut Carbon (with the Ortofon 2M Red that it came with) -> Sony STR-AV320 (receiver with phono input) -> Sharp CP-BA2650 speakers (in Speaker A) and Bose Interaudio 2000 speakers (in Speaker B ) Everything besides the turntable was given to me for free or super cheap, so I'm looking to swap some of those parts out. The problem is that I don't know what the bottleneck in my setup is. Does anyone have any experiences with this receiver or these speakers? If so, where should I go from here? For amps, I've been looking at the Yamaha A-S501, Onkyo A-9050, Music Hall a15.3, and the Marantz PM5004 or 6005. I also have a TCC TC-750LC preamp that I got before I got the receiver. Would it be worth it to throw this into my setup now, or is it not going to have much of an effect? Thanks in advance!
  4. Hey there, the debut LP from YURODIVY called 'APHOS' is out now! Check out this great band when you like bands like Birds in Row, Code Orange, The Prestige... French Posthardcore at is finest! YURODIVY – Aphos | Gatefold LP + download code A perfect treat for fans of vibes in the vein of BIRDS IN ROW, CODE ORANGE, THE PRESTIGE or THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN. For those willing to persist and explore, “Aphos” is a work of intelligence, crafted with frenzy, but also great care. www.idioteq.com They still use the tools of the trade: loud, dissonant guitars, organic drums, unpolished screams. It’s just that these guys open up the box of Legos and throw out the instructions. 5. Heading back to SE Asia for a while so selling my nearly new PRO-JECT Debut Carbon and the albums I don't want to keep. If anyone is interested in all of the records and the record player, I would cut a really good deal. The record player is in really good condition, I don't know of any scuffs or flaws with it, only used for about 40 hours total. I bought it here, so this is the exact specs: http://www.wwbw.com/Pro-Ject-Debut-Carbon-DC-J16942-i4020209.wwbw FS List: https://www.discogs.com/user/mschneider8563/collection Phantogram Nightlife Nada Surf Let Go The Hold Steady Stay Positive Charles Bradley Featuring Menahan Street Band Victim Of Love Sara Bareilles Stay Faunts Left Here Alone Beacon (4) The Ways We Separate Relient K The Vinyl Countdown I Relient K Let It Snow, Baby ... 7. I have a Debut III turntable, Art DJ Pre Amp and a set of standard speakers. For what ever reason the left channel cable that comes from the turntable to the pre amp keeps cutting off. I would plug it in and about a minute later the sound from the left speaker would cut off and won't come back until i unplug and plug the cable into the pre amp. Is there anyway I can replace this? I tried to find the parts online but I couldn't find them. I'm hoping someone would point me in the right direction. Thanks
  8. Selling a near mint White Zombie Soul-Crusher album. Shoot me with an offer and lets see where it goes from there! This is an original pressing Catalog Carol 1350. The vinyl has barely been played and the sleeve has some wear but nothing bad!
  9. I recently purchased through a friend and used Debut III turntable. Huge upgrade from my AT LP 60. It sounds great! Up until the motor started making noise. This was shipped to me and it was packaged well, but i noticed that the transport screws weren't put back when I opened the box it came in. Is there anyway I can get this noise fixed with out replacing the motor? I can't really describe the sound through word so I put up a little video of the noise: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_wxS_wu7Ns All the help would be appreciated!

  11. Hi all, I'm new to this website so I apologise if I get this wrong. I'm looking for a copy of The Kooks Inside In/ Inside Out 2xLP Vinyl. This version includes the live version of the album at Abbey Road and the original studio recorded album. Please see the link below for the one that I mean: http://www.popsike.com/The-Kooks-Inside-in-The-Inside-Out-2x-LP-Vinyl/310359958089.html I understand that the worth of this product has changed a lot, I was looking to buy this for about £50 to £60 or less. I've seen it for sale for that price on discogs and ebay but unfortunately I did not have the money to buy said item at the time and because of sods law I have the money now but I cannot find the item on discogs or ebay. I am only interested if the item is in MINT condition or VERY GOOD. By which I mean either sealed or has had some usage but still plays brilliantly. Many thanks, Ben Wilkinson
  12. Anyone know where to obtain one of these in Canada? Any I've found online don't seem to ship here. Ontario to be specific, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Hello, I'm in the market for a new TT. I pretty much decided on the Pro-Ject Debut III. My budget is $300. Is there a TT worth the $300 more than the Debut III? Also, it is only $300 for a limited time and I may not have the $300 to spend for a month or so. If the deal ends before I get the money and it goes back to regular price ($400, out of my price range), is the Pro-Ject Essential a good consolation? What are the notable differences? -Thanks

  15. $450 is the price for all new Carbons I see here in Canada. Go for it or wait for a cheaper deal on the stock model? Or go vintage? Or idk EDIT: Just got it. Turns out what I forgot in the listing was that it included a Q up tonearm lifter, which is $60. Not bad. c:
  16. SOME STRANGER will release their debut "Self-Titled" EP on April 2nd (digital) and April 30th (vinyl). Co-released by the band and independent label Robotic Empire, the digital version will be available as a pay-what-you-want download directly from the band via Bandcamp as well as traditional digital retailers. The vinyl will be released as a 45RPM 12" by Robotic Empire and is available for preorder now: http://www.roboticempire.com/store/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&keyword=Some+Stranger SOME STRANGER started immediately following the departure of vocalist Tym from his previous endeavor, rock outfit DAYTRADER. Joined by visual artist and guitarist Daniel Danger on guitar, the duo swiftly tracked the EP with Gary Cioffi (TRANSIT, MISSER). The record was then mixed by Vince Ratti (BALANCE AND COMPOSURE, CIRCA SURVIVE) and mastered by Will Yip (TITLE FIGHT, BLACKLISTED). Alternative Press' recent "100 Bands You Need To Know This Year" feature characterized SOME STRANGER as "a textured, haunting collection that defies easy categorization." Says vocalist Tym, "We're extremely excited to be working with Robotic Empire on this project. They've released some of our favorite records of all time... Torche, Isis, Jesu, pg99... the list goes on. We sent them some demos as we were writing them and when they offered to help us release it, it was a no-brainer. We finished up the recording process at the tail end of last year and we can't wait for people to hear it." Robotic Empire label founder Andy Low added "Having known Tym and Dr. Danger for a long time, it's exciting to hear SOME STRANGER pushing their individual and collective strengths in great ways. Our friends have crafted a powerful debut and we're thrilled to be a part of it!" TRACK LISTING: 1. On And On 2. Points East 3. Silver & The Sun 4. Song One 5. Sirens PREVIEW: The opening track "On And On" is streaming now over at absolutepunk.net: http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=3089271 ALBUM DESCRIPTION: Striking out from the wastelands of conventional "indie" or "emo" rock, SOME STRANGER emerge with five incredibly catchy tracks on their debut release. Blissful melodic vocals soaring over an erratic and driving rhythm section are combined with hyper yet delicate guitars run through an arsenal of effects pedals. The overall haunting results are leaps and bounds beyond most debut releases, the clear result of seasoned veterans combining forces to yield amazing results. Formerly of emo-rock outfit DAYTRADER, vocalist Tym joined friend and acclaimed visual artist / guitarist Daniel Danger to form SOME STRANGER with a mutual affliction for left-of-center angular rock. The duo enlisted longtime friend Derrick Flanagin (also of DAYTRADER, CAPSULE) to track drums and promptly hammering out their first set of recordings with engineer Gary Cioffi (TRANSIT, MISSER) also handling bass duties. Vince Ratti (CIRCA SURVIVE, BALANCE AND COMPOSURE) expertly mixed the session, which was then mastered by Will Yip (TITLE FIGHT, BLACKLISTED). Finally, Jacob Van Loon contributed artwork and the debut EP is now ready to be unleashed. This 45RPM vinyl 12" has a first press limited to 500 pieces (200 on black vinyl, 300 on clear/black) and includes a digital download.
