  1. Have you ever wondered what Reel Big Fish's Sell Out would sound like as a 70s-style California folk rock song? No? What about the Pietasters' Higher as if it were from a Muppet movie? Really? Not even a bit curious? What about a Slackers song as a quiet folk ballad? Or a Mad Caddies song in the style of a Neil Young jam? Well if you were even vaguely curious about any of the above, you're in luck. I've just released and shared my newest album, Third Wave Mixtape to the unsuspecting public. Nine covers of ska and ska punk songs from the late 90s, an era when most high school band horn players could somehow find themselves on national television, and skanking was an acceptable dance move. The album was entirely recorded and performed by me over the last three months and is available to stream and download for free via Bandcamp: https://danielfield.bandcamp.com/album/third-wave-mixtape Tracklisting: 1. Sell Out (Reel Big Fish) 2. Higher (The Pietasters) 3. Rules of the Game (The Hotknives) 4. Redlight (The Slackers) 5. Far Behind (The Hippos) 6. All My Best Friends Are Metalheads (Less Than Jake) 7. Nude Beach (The Scofflaws) 8. A Year Of This (The Undercovers) 9. The Bell Tower (The Mad Caddies)
