  1. As discussed, changed this to a Nadja / Baker catch all thread. Feel free to post anything related to Nadja, his solo project or anything else he may be involved in. I know that this is a vinyl specific thread, but I don't think that any of us would be upset if CD/Digital news is shared either.

I know there are some Omega Massif fans here. Lots of information and some of the tracks here: http://www.avalanchers.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=10677&sid=a18240c9118a1020d607d7da1844015d
  4. Sound-wise, Nadja have hit my sweet spot the past few releases, with Queller really just being a fantastic listen. If you are put off by the whole 'drone' idea like I was, this may be worth 10 to 15 minutes to experiment with some more mainstream concepts. Nadja incorporate elements from other genres like shoegaze and some doom metal, with Queller, having (to my ears) taking some high end shrill off, and bring a very accessible tone to their faithful followers and perhaps reaching out to the uninitiated as well. Bandcamp here: http://nadja.bandcamp.com/album/queller‎ If you just want the Black Wax /220, $26.99 + $5.00 Media Mail to US at Darla Records: http://darla.com/index.php?fuseaction=item_cat.ecom_superitem_detail&item_cat_id=42730 Essence music was chosen as they are known for their fine packaging of special releases. http://essence-music.com/releases/queller-lp/ If you want the limited White vinyl with Purple or Blue Art /133, I'm not sure how much longer they will last, but with the shipping $, the cost factor may keep them available longer. Nadja Queller Nadja’s absolutely unique and incredible splicing of extreme doom, shoegaze and experimental music that the Canadian duo – currently based in Berlin – likes to call “dreamgaze” is of such beauty and heaviness that it can crumble skyscrapers and mesmerize souls in absolute bliss and colossal majesty. Calmer and more structured when compared to their other albums, Queller is their newly crafted masterpiece where the band explicitly dives back into the new wave and post-punk era to combine those influential sonorities with an amalgam of immense and gorgeous sludging heavy guitar constructions. As the mastermind Aidan Baker wisely says, “Killing Joke, Joy Division and Wire reinterpreted through the Nadja spectrum”. The ethereal, lush and slow-motion heaviness of tracks like “Dark Circles” and the crushing blasts of “Lidérc” per se are true statements of an album of epic proportions. Nadja at its absolutely best. Recorded over a period of one week and pre-released on LP during the band’s South American tour, Queller is now officially available! Strictly limited total edition of 353 hand-numbered copies (220 on Black vinyl and 133 on White vinyl) pressed on 180g high-quality Dutch wax. Housed in a stunning hand-screenprinted, sturdy die-cut packaging, containing a fold-out poster/innersleeve – available in 3 different color variations -, insert and card. Beautiful artwork by Error! Design and mastering by James Plotkin. Also available as a CD edition. ABOUT NADJANadja is a Canadian duo made up of Aidan Baker (guitar, vocals, drum machines) and Leah Buckareff (bass, accordion, vocals) alternately based in Toronto and Berlin. Originally began as a solo project …
