I'm heading out on a 8 night, 9 day road trip across the great American Southwest on Friday. Points of interest are Albuquerque, NM Grand Canyon, AZ Ventura, CA Big Sur, CA Santa Clarita, CA Zion National Park, UT Pagosa Springs, CO Palo Duro Canyon, TX In Albuquerque, Ventura, Santa Clarita, and Pagosa Springs we have nothing planned out. I'm looking for suggestions on what to do and where to eat cheap and locally [no chains] on these routes. Also, any beer suggestions from local breweries to try while I'm out are more than welcome.
