"La Virgen de los Mataderos" is certainly not about labels but about feelings. It's an extremely interesting record in both musical and lyrical aspects. It's cathartic, mesmerizing and compelling. Lyrics deal with the lose of close relatives during the Pinochet dictatorship but at the same time, with all the psychological impact that this reign of terror brought to the country that is still present in these days.
