I have to say though, even with part of this quote now being my sig, the whole "Keep Calm and ____ On" drives me bananas. I hate it.

Liimpan
that's gay I understand people being annoyed by it but the fun thing is that the only people who'll get offended when someone says something is gay is heterosexuals. Kinda fun
Liimpan
People saying random comments about your appearance."Hey, your hair looks weird today""What happened there?" (regarding any kind of spot in your face)"Wow haven't you shaved for a while?"I mean, why.

SBarry
When people actually say the word "hashtag" before a word/sentence.Like, when someone is reading a tweet? Or the doofuses that say "hash tag that was so awesome!" as something happens?
horrorbusiness138
Like, when someone is reading a tweet? Or the doofuses that say "hash tag that was so awesome!" as something happens? No, just in conversation with people. The other day I'm outside my work having a smoke and a chick walks by talking to another and all I heard of their conversation was "So I complained on yelp and they offered me a free manicure and I'm like... hashtag aweseome!" I almost choked on my smoke.
SBarry
Yeah that shit may have been funny when the general public became aware of hash tagging, but knock that shit the fuck off now.
icecream
I hate hearing the response at work after asking how they're doing ? "Another day in paradise " I hear that every fucking day or " Oh just living the dream"

caninesapien
In a similar vein to the hashtag thing - when people say something and end it with "dot com" - "I just got off work and I am tired.com"

caninesapien
People still do that? Not as often now I guess, but it's still totally a thing. Mostly on facebook etc. What do you mean? Only heterosexuals get offended when stuff gets described as gay? Not sure how true that is.
horrorbusiness138
In a similar vein to the hashtag thing - when people say something and end it with "dot com" - "I just got off work and I am tired.com" I haven't heard that in awhile, but yes it is just as bad. Liimpan
Only heterosexuals get offended when stuff gets described as gay? Not sure how true that is. Should have said "in my experience" haha. Most homosexuals/bisexuals I know always say that stuff is "gay" EDIT: That is, because they don't take it or see it as a serious insult, and they make a joke of it. Team Avatar
You can say the same exact thing about the N word. It's not okay to say it if you're white. My non cis friends are 50/50 when it comes to using gay. some don't mind it, and some will tell you that it is not okay to use that word. caninesapien
Fair enough. I actually don't hear a lot of stuff being described as "gay" or "faggy" or whatever else, so lucky me I guess.
Guest
I've about had it with every girl who starts conversation on a dating site with "hey nice beard". At this point, it's pretty much no different than me starting off with "hey nice tits"
etphonehome
I hate it when people say "I haven't seen you in a minute" it makes no sense to me and just pisses me off.
