parkinglot
Come hither, and speak of all things emo. Ideally, try to keep the troll posts (MCR, Asking Alexandria) to a minimum. Anyways, the new Brave Bird song rules. https://soundcloud.com/beartrappr/brave-bird-rekindle
dapeebs
Really been digging You Blew It! as of late. Especially this song off of their split with Fake Problems:
zacaroo21
Park recorded a new album last fall - hopefully it's out sometime soon. Their first couple albums were mega solid.
Guest
Just wanted to drop a lol at the unofficial tag. Other than that, I am not knowledgeable on emo, so I will see myself out.
parkinglot
Also, post any "pay what you want" Bandcamp links for bands. http://realsportsboys.bandcamp.com/album/well-get-to-it-eventually

xJSx
http://sororitynoise.bandcamp.com Pay what you want for Sorority Noise's new album Forgettable. It's amazing. Favorite track has to be Blonde Hair Black Lungs.
museummouth
Emo died with Snowing and Algernon. There I said it.
Bladewillisisdead
Emo died with Snowing and Algernon. There I said it. I was at the last Snowing show. It was me. I killed emo. (If emo didn't die in the 90s then it will live forever)
Ballisticgoat
Yeah the Sorority Noise album is pretty awesome, kind of sad I didn't buy one of those cassette EPs a while back. I'm probably gonna lurk this thread from now on, seeing as these past few months I've been on an emo kick and I need to broaden my horizons beyond more than just a handful of bands. parkinglot
It's crazy for me to think that it has almost been 3 years since Snowing broke up. That was my senior year of high school. Time flies.

It was the year after I dropped out of college for the third time. I might be too old. Their last show ruled but I was sad that Algernon and 1994! weren't that great because I love their records. TWIABP killed it though. I saw them like 4 times that year.

Satan
uhm... is this a "emo revival" thread? or are we talking early-mid 90's emo...
Bladewillisisdead
uhm... is this a "emo revival" thread? or are we talking early-mid 90's emo... Since it's not official, I think it can be about all emo. Even that late 80s Dischord stuff.
Satan
this is all i have to contribute to this "emo" thread. sorry if it disappoints!

StrangeTerrain
also does anyone else get annoyed when you download a bunch of stuff from Bandcamp and then you extract them all at once by accident and its just a huge fucked up mess?
parkinglot
uhm... is this a "emo revival" thread? or are we talking early-mid 90's emo... All emo. The Get Up Kids are always welcome. Satan
Bladewillisisdead
The best emo band isn't even from the 90s or the current "revival" Bear vs Shark for goddamn life. Speaking of the 90s though, someone who does that sort ofthing should press this record
