dapeebs
From what I've heard, so long as you get to a railing it's a pretty good view. I definitely think it'll still be worth it hopefully. From the past Circa shows I've been to, all the fun was right by the stage. This is the only venue I've been to that doesn't just have a general admission and that's it. Should have bought a NYC ticket when I had the chance.
tape
If you're stuck with mezzanine tickets, get there as early as you possibly can and grab a spot on the rail and then never move. The mezzanine is fine if you're on the rail, and utterly useless if you're not. The fact that they sell way more mezzanine tickets than there are people that can feasibly see the stage and then confine you to the mezzanine angers me to no end. It's especially bad because the balcony hangs over the back of the mezzanine so the stage isn't even visible from the rear area - but you bet your bippy they count that area as part of "capacity." dapeebs
See that's what I'm worried about. I don't want to drive 4 hours only to be stuck with a shitty view
jewfro
Only Descencus on vinyl. They have the deluxe cd version. Lots of cool shirts. And a wall banner with the bicycle artwork
izpoodave
When RX Bandits were setting up they were playing music over the speakers like they usually do. A song came on that I'm pretty sure is a new Circa song.

izpoodave
Or maybe Saosin?? It was a pretty relaxed song. Definitely had a Circa vibe but who knows.
pmlevine
200 VIPs last night. I guess this answers the question as to why there is no real meet and greet. https://instagram.com/p/9OcYO-ym9c/?taken-by=circasurvive
ejc625
Holy hell. Would have been cool, but no way I could have afforded that package. When is the actual street date for this?
Valeriano
Wow 200 VIP must be the limit per show, which would put the VIP vinyl pressing number to potentially 5000. I wonder if they pressed all of those in anticipation of selling out the shows (obviously they weren't selling out on every show), or if they were waiting to get a final VIP count. TheEnigmyst
Went to the show last night at Ram's Head. They ran out of most of their merch by the end of the show, and I picked up the deluxe CD. I'm pretty sure they just dragged "Suspending Disbelief" over onto the album because there's a break in the feedback between the two songs. I really hope that they fix this for the vinyl pressings. The demos are amazing. It's really cool to hear these songs in their infancy. The other B-Sides are fantastic as well. The versions of "Julian" and "Califone" are the best I've ever heard. Well worth the $15 it cost.
Valeriano
To anyone that's gone to a show so far that did the VIP: What was the schedule like? Did they start on time? Did they get through many questions? was it rushed? Did they leave any time at the end to hangout for a moment? Just curious as to what to expect. Guest
I just listened to the demos, and I really don't like them. It's cool to hear, but they just sound bad. Drums are over powering a lot, vocals are distant and echo-y. Obviously they are demos so they are not going to be clean, but they are not really worth listening to unless you really like demos. B-sides are ok.

kurt
Speaking of almost 10 years ago. This shaped CD promo was from when they played SXSW for the first time in March 2006: backpackoat and pushbacktosquare
Dominic_
I need one of those. It's so damn cool. Not as cool as the Carcass brain shaped CDs though, but I forget what album that was for.
Bladewillisisdead
I once had a Hewhocorrupts CD that was shaped like a credit card and came packaged in a wallet with liner notes on a receipt.

andrewlucas
Neat. But what CD player would accept it? Looks like a mini disc, so computers or CD players that allow you to set the cd into the player. A car stereo wouldnt work.
