_stretts
Got Ian WIlliam Craigs 'A Turn of Breath' in the mail today. Best ambient album from last year imo, so glad second press was done https://stuffilistento.wordpress.com/2015/03/25/macro-vinyl-ian-william-craig-a-turn-of-breath-recital-2nd-pressing/
rabbitvinyl
Has anybody heard the new Nils Frahm release? It's called "solo" and he released the digital version for free (LP available from Erased Tapes). Here's the link to the project: http://www.pianoday.org/So far I'm really loving it. There are some very beautiful pieces on this album. The first few tracks are just gorgeous, some of the best he's put out in awhile.
nelso330
HOT RELEASE! William Basinski - The Deluge http://shop.temporaryresidence.com/trr258 This appears to be Brand New Work! not a reissue, which is just awesome news... THIS IS A PRE-ORDER! ALL ITEMS WILL SHIP ON OR AROUND MAY 12, 2015! Cascade and The Deluge are variations on the latest tape-loop and delay composition from the inimitable William Basinski. Cascade is the CD/Digital variant, and The Deluge is the deluxe 180 gram white vinyl LP companion. In Cascade, a single ancient lilting piano tape loop repeats endlessly carrying one along in its tessellating current. In The Deluge, the same loop is processed through a series of feedback loops of different lengths, creating a spiraling crescendo of overtones that eventually fades away to silence. In the denouement, a series of limpid piano loops leads to an urgent orchestral theme that builds and gradually dies. The Deluge is a limited edition, 180 gram white vinyl LP packaged in a heavyweight full-color cardboard jacket. All copies are white, there is no black vinyl variant. Aych
Not sure if this has already been brought up, but I thought it was really good. Gaussian Curve - Clouds, released on Music From Memory, a neat little Amsterdam-based label. http://experimedia.net/index.php?main_page=product_music_info&cPath=1&products_id=15506

Absolute minimalistic modern classical is my favorite and Nils does a great job with that on this album. It's beautiful, I ordered the vinyl from Erased Tapes

Seafinch
If anybody stumbles upon this record on RSD I'd LOVE a copy. No idea what shops other than Forced Exposure will have it... Also, i got the new Nils Frahm on vinyl this weekend. Might be my new favorite of his.
JRHews
Album I stumbled upon by Bruno Sanfilippo is pretty freaking good. Ambient/Modern Classical (piano, and strings at times) https://brunosanfilippo.bandcamp.com/album/inside-life Also the new Anoice is fairly solid after a few listens. https://riccolabel.bandcamp.com/album/into-the-shadows If anybody stumbles upon this record on RSD I'd LOVE a copy. No idea what shops other than Forced Exposure will have it... Also, i got the new Nils Frahm on vinyl this weekend. Might be my new favorite of his. I'll see if they have it in at the Princeton NJ one has it, looking for it as well. Any other solid ambient/mod classical vinyl for RSD I should look out for? CaptainHerbalLife
If any of you stateside feel like dishing out some big cash on a single track, this is surely your best bet. "Half Gramme Holiday" 12" by Brambles. 8/55 remaining https://fauxpasmusik.bandcamp.com/album/half-gramme-holiday Also, if you missed the full-length 'Charcoal', now's the last chance to snag one up, straight from the artist. All sold out through Serein. One of the better ambient albums of late, in my personal opinion. https://slowdecade.bandcamp.com/album/charcoal-2014-special-edition

CaptainHerbalLife
Helios' Eingya will finally see a repress ! I was disappointed at first as it seemed that only supporting the 75$ tier will get you the vinyl (along with a print of the new album art) but then... Will the vinyl re-issue of "Eingya" be offered outside of the Kickstarter campaign? The vinyl is exclusive to Kickstarter campaign for the 30-day duration. After the campaign is completed, I will make copies available via my store via http://unseen.bigcartel.com/ ...which is a fancy way of saying YES! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/9189345/helios-and-mint-julep-album-release
Derek™
Awesome news. I can finally remove it from Discogs want list – I'm sick and tired of seeing the same sellers asking preposterous amounts for it, again and again.

CaptainHerbalLife
Oh, also. Evan Caminiti's new LP is up for grabs. Still bummed they didn't go for the gold vinyl instead of clear with that artwork. http://www.thrilljockey.com/thrill/Evan-Caminiti/Meridian#.VVOwu5M08at *Edit. They just changed the clear vinyl to gold. Unfortunately the pressing plant they use refer to yellow as gold though...blehh. I would've liked to think my comment on their FB page had something to do with it but now I would like to renounce all responsibility for that...the clear would've been nicer. I hate when labels try to sell yellow vinyl under the name of gold. Pffttt Has to be one of my biggest pet peeves. Happened with the Cloakroom Further Out as well.
