Some new Nils Frahm coming; deep cuts, old tracks and unreleased materials in a double album. Super excited for it. No PO for Vinyl yet except for Amazon, which, pass, so waiting for a legit PO.

Double is better as a lot of turntables worldwide have been waiting for this.

Pete Namlook’s Air I (You) is available on vinyl again and it looks awesome!

Looking forward to this, shipping to the UK is grim though, 17.70 euro.  Hopefully they get a few distributors set up.

Super excited for this. Was able to get the limited the day of.

Just received my copy from ANOST this afternoon. Spinning it now and it's gorgeous as usual! Lots of key-clacking goodness, sweet melodies and just all around lovely tunes. A triumphant ending to this trilogy! I prefer this one to "Lost" but it still doesn't edge out Pino. Still great though.

There's also one song that has a Christmas-y vibe to it, which is very fitting considering the first snow happened today :) This guy can do no wrong.

Random drone / ambient updates in my neck of the woods.

• New Jon Hopkins is pretty phenomenal.  Should've / could've easily guessed he'd excel at a heady ambient record.  The sound's been present beneath the surface on his prior albums, but he doubled down on it this time around and I'm really enjoying it for night listens, especially.

• Yellow Swans' Drowner is available on vinyl for the first time.  $46 PPD.  Oof.

New Biosphere announced today.  $45 PPD.  Noticing a trend here.

• Anyone ever get a lead on a US pre-order for Gas' Der Lange Marsch?  Or am I really gonna' cough up $45 PPD on Kompact's bandcamp?

Album #4 Stareside from Billow Observatory (aka Jonas Munk of Manual and Jason Kolb of Auburn Lull) available for pre-order.

Blue vinyl limited to 625 copies. You might want to wait for copies to hit distros & online stores like Juno since shipping might be better depending on your location. Ships in March 2022. Then again, if you buy from Azure Vista you usually get some snazzy stickers and even a free CD if you're really lucky.

I’m a little late to the game. Does anyone know if pre-orders exist for Bruit ≤ - The Machine Is Burning And Now Everyone Knows It Could Happen Again?

I totally slept on this album and it’s absolutely mesmerizing

They do not exist, and a few days ago the label (Elusive) confirmed that they are no longer pressing the record.  Really odd since they had been working on it all year; I think they even had test presses in hand for a while now.  I sort of suspect they had a falling out with the band… hopefully another label eventually swoops in and makes it happen.

Bummer to hear. I had heard things that Elusive would be permanently done by the end of the year (not sure on the validity of that) Shame because they really do an excellent job with their records. That Somn - All-Devouring was  next level

It's been a while since I last attempted, but I think it might be cheaper for shipping via the kompakt site than bandcamp too... However, this will surely come with time I expect, as all his other releases always turn up pretty widely.

Celer lovers watch out! Celer - Sunspots (Oscarsson, 2021, Germany) is out tomorrow! For some odd reason this beauty isn't sold out yet. Remastered by Stephan Mathieu and limited to just 145 (!) copies for the world, I instantly pulled the trigger on this one. The whole package is a real stunner and is easily in my top 3 reissues of 2021.

New Mary Lattimore and Paul Sukeena. The synths are way too New Age sounding for my taste but maybe there’s someone out there who is interested in this. There’s a little less than 100 of the purple variant left.

I have a feeling I’m going to like this, and I like supporting Three Lobed.  Ordered.

New Rafael Anton Irisarri LP.  Comes out to $36 PPD to the US.  Juno has it for $32 if the clear isn't worth the extra $4.

Technically not new?? I got the edition of his last album, Solstagia, which was bundled with Agitas Al Sol on cassette, so I'm expecting it'll be an exploration/expansion of that cassette release.

Oh yeah, good call.  I have that CS too, but didn't put together that's what this was.  New to vinyl then :)

New release from Evan Caminiti of Barn Owl out today.  Collab with Jake Muir.  I'm a huge fan of Barn Owl, but his latest solo stuff as been a little too minimal to keep my interest.  This seems like it has some familiar footing though.  Also says they were influenced by Blood Incantation and Spectral Voice, heh.
