thejesseb
Friends we have some huge exciting news! Teenage Bottlerocket is proud to announce we have just signed to Rise Records and will be recording our first record for them this December at the Blasting Room! The label is home to many of our favorite bands including Bouncing Souls and Face to Face and we are really excited to join the family! Now, I’m sure many people are wondering how our relationship with Fat Wreck Chords is, and the answer is: awesome! We love everyone at that label, and are proud to have worked with them over the past 5 years. The people at Fat are some of our closest friends and with their blessing, we have embarked on a new path. We are super stoked to announce that we’ll be working with Rise on our next album! Rise Records have made us feel very welcome and at home already. The label is ready to work hard with us and we’re excited to see what the future brings! On our end we’ve been working hard writing new songs and are looking forward to making what we hope will be our best record yet! Once that’s out we’ll do what we always do: tour and tour some more! We love all of you, thank you so much for your support over the years and we can’t wait to see you all again!Party on,TBR This just seems weird. shenanigans
Why does it seem weird? This is the track Rise has been on for the last few years. Bouncing Souls, Face to Face, Hot Water Music, 7 Seconds...Teenage Bottlerocket. Everyone can start preparing now for the ridiculous bundles they're going to have for the limited variant of the record. Outside of that, I've got no qualms with Rise. dethrock
horrorbusiness138
It does seem odd.......

GradedOnACurve
Hey Rise has some $$$ to throw around. So if you're a band you could tour more comfortably and record with some $$$ with Rise.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
is it me, or does it seem like every band on Rise Records just goes stagnant 2 months after their record comes out? Its almost like putting bands in the retirement home
konk
I guess I'd be mad if I still collected this band. And the box set didn't have variants.
thebiglebowski
Don't really know much about this label other than that the cheap girls signed with them and it only lasted one record. I'll buy everything Kody puts out until the day I die, though, so label doesn't mean shit. Pumped they are gonna put out new material. horrorbusiness138
burntwolf
i thought it was odd only bc it seems like they are the type of band that was going to get as 'big' as they were going to get on Fat. if they didn't blow up being on Fat...i don't really see them gaining much from being on Rise. guess we'll see. i won't be buying any 100$ bundles though... tittus
Not too worried. They'll still pump out awesome tunes regardless of label.

mbfischer12
How many different variants can you make from a black cover and a single color logo image? Like others, I feel weird about this. TBR sounds like they belong on Fat. Not Rise.
konk
I think I'd rather see colors that don't match than 5 swirl/split/smoke/splatter/a-side-b-sides of black and the other color.
