It's more dream than pop I guess but a few of you might like it over here. It's dreamy, romantic, shoegazy as far as I am concerned. Thought I had the wrong link on BW lol - it's the most chill, ambient, soundscape music, instrumental tracks like Hammock or Eluvium and others with ethereal male vocals to push it into the -gaze family. I would put this on the exact opposite end of the shoegaze spectrum that The Angelic Process lands (heavy, doom, metal, atmospheric). Really nice music, and I can why 95% your metalhead base is not going to buy into this, but it's a great addition to your label.

Maybe not that much anger, that is underneath much of the TAP material. It's actually Maurice (Seirom is Mories backwards) from Gnaw Their Tongues. I have 4 older tracks that are a deadringer for early Slowdive stuff. Might have to put that out on a 7" if I have the budget.
CeCeCe
Not sure if anyone else bought this recently but I'd recommend 'Pink Noise' by Echo Ladies, you can listen on bandcamp and the pink vinyl can still be found on a number of uk sites (not sure where in the US are stocking it) https://echoladies.bandcamp.com/album/pink-noise http://www.resident-music.com/productdetails&product_id=55627 https://www.roughtrade.com/gb/music/echo-ladies-pink-noise https://www.normanrecords.com/records/170517-echo-ladies-pink-noise drds89 and radiatorhums

mrewest
I’m not well versed in dream pop & have no clue if this fits into this thread, but Wikipedia tells me they’re dream pop so it must be accurate. Found these guys while listening to some chillwave tho so I dunno. But this album is killer. Get past the goofy intro & it’s a nice, chill, infectious album. https://mildorange.bandcamp.com/album/foreplay Edited August 16, 2018 by mrewest

drds89
@deafening turned me onto HOLY FAWN who just announced a full length, and my hopes are really high for this. I do not see vinyl plans, but imma spring for a CD since it's /25 (ooooh) Check out the single Arrows .... and their earlier material as well. HOLY FAWN - Death Spells New track by Twin Studies "Still Life" is absolutely sublime. Twin Studies - Still Life deafening

Twin Studies - Still Life Don passed along this recommendation to me & they might be the best new band I’ve listened to all year. Everything by them thus far is insanely good. This new album has shot to the top of my most anticipated currently. I snagged that CD as well hoping for that /25 lyric sheet. The first CD I’ve bought in years lol. Gumbo72203
So, I'm not sure if they belong here but I just started checking out DIIV ahead of the Deafheaven tour and HOLY FUCK! Dude! These guys are great! I started with the KEXP video (actually spurred because I was listening to Neu!'s "Hallogallo" and someone said that DIIV kexp brought them there) and watch the whole thing. Raging. Now onto their most recent album, and man!!!! Wow!!!! This is hitting me so hard right now, loving it. Kit from TPOS has been raving about these guys for a long time. Everything I've listened to has been great, but there was one song I REALLY liked. Always thought of these guys as more post-rock but happy to see them getting talked about!
Derek™
DIIV have been the shit for a long time now. I’ve heard mixed things about their live show though.

Yeah i noticed the KEXP video is quite old. But if that quality is any indication of their performance, I am very stoked. Especially with the new songs. "Under The Sun" is incredible. Jetboy
I think the quality of DIIV's live show hinges on what kind of health Cole is in.

It's rare to escape smack, like less than 5% do, always hoping the best for him. Both times I have seen them, they have been good, not great, and No Joy blew them away on Is The, Is Are tour. jrodan
diiv was boring as shit at levitation in austin earlier this year. was super bummed cuz it was my first time seeing them and i have loved all their recorded output. he was also sober then, so not sure what the correlation is. Look at what is happening to Michael Keene from The Faceless. But where have you guys gotten this information from, regarding DIIV and heroin use? He and Sky Ferreira got pulled over, and Zachary was later charged, with possession of heroin.
