Video game OSTs

Recommended Posts

The first three Spyro soundtracks need to be pressed without a doubt. Probably my favorite scores from a video game.

I'd buy those in an instant if they were to release them especially the first games soundtrack, I doubt that will ever happen though. I recently made a double cassette version of the first Spyro soundtrack so I could have a physical copy of it, had to put it on 2 cassettes since it was a rather long soundtrack, slightly over 2 hours, I had ripped the WAV files to my computer from the game disc and some program I had to use to extract the files, the cassettes and artwork I designed for it came out pretty nice.

Actually : http://music.musicofthemoon.com/album/particles-epand http://music.musicofthemoon.com/album/moon-ep were both edited on vinyl. Not the full OST of course, but it's still something !

You can send an email at [email protected] for details.

I bought the shit outta both of those. I can't wait for them to ship. The M O O N tracks are some of my favorites. Perturbator also put out an album, but it's pretty hard to find for a reasonable price nowadays.

Yeah, not only that - it also came with a little bus with a built-in speaker which drove around the record and played the music.

OH SHIIIIT

I'm definitely going to keep my eyes out for that. Hopefully I can find a copy that hasn't been chewed up by the bus lol. I have such good memories of that game when it came out, one of my earliest gaming experiences. Maybe I should try and find a copy of the game too.

I really dig the Sun Araw, Daisuke, and Coconuts tracks as well.  M|O|O|N is good, but I need the entire soundtrack to soothe my urge.

They actually did a repress of Perturbators album and still have black copies left here http://www.blood-music.com/store-us/product.php?id_product=411

The variants however are the hard ones to get for cheap

Huh, I didn't think they would've had any black copies left at this point. Cool! I got one of the OG Blue/Red splatters and I love it. Blood Music puts out quality stuff.

I haven't played OoT or Majora's Mask yet .-.

They haven't aged too bad at all man, I would definitely check them out at some point! Even if its on a pc emulator or something. Ocarina is honestly a bit brutal looking graphically at times but both games are timeless classics without a doubt!

Yeah! I recently bought the Gamecube Collector's disc and they're both on there.

I will play them eventually, but I have this thing where I want to beat all of them in order, so I'm currently playing A Link to the Past. Already beat WindWaker and absolutely loved that one.

Will definitely play soon!

I would love any legit Zelda soundtrack but even if it were on a game by game basis, there is so much that would have to be left out when you start getting into the 3D games. I can't see Nintendo pushing out 2LPs for a reasonable price haha. This is clearly one of those "vinyl fetishist" objects, so for 90's era midi I don't think I'd mind too much if it ended up being ultra-crammed onto 1 LP, or pressed as a picture disc
