darkeyelids
So a recent Newbury comics email mentions that Nick Cave vinyl exclusives are coming soon. Kinda hoping they're pre orders for the upcoming batch (Murder Ballads, Boatman's Call e.t.c.), not the first batch but I really doubt they would be so considerate hah
apirk
Deepdiscount has some good prices on these right now with an addition 15%
Shameful Dread
Deepdiscount has some good prices on these right now with an addition 15% As good as those prices look, that website is the worst and I don't suggest anyone buy a single thing from them. apirk
I've bought tons of stuff from them and never had a problem. If something is back stocked it can take awhile to get at take a while if it is going to be refunded but that is about it.
negavinyl
Just pray you never have an issue with returning an item or dealing with deepdiscount's customer service. Woof. Worst I've ever experienced by far.
negavinyl
So finally working on these, got From Her to Eternity and Firstborn is Dead. Soundstage now lists Abattoir as shipping in 10-14 days, anyone have experience with that? Do they usually get more in and ship or will I just be in limbo. Don't wanna order from Amazon UK but if my locals don't have this I will do what I gotta do.
tonyfranciosa
Soundstage is usually pretty good about filling backorders of stuff still in print. The lead time is probably because it's an import-only title at this point... if it were a US pressing, I'd imagine a shorter turnaround time. I use Soundstage a lot, got the last copy of Abbatoir they had in stock from them. Only time they didn't fulfil a 10-14 day shipping order for me was an out of print title. Code LP10 will get you 10% off their site, expires at midnight EST.
fondfarewell
I ordered Abbatoir from Soundstage on 12/16. Still waiting.

negavinyl
I ordered Abbatoir from Soundstage on 12/16. Still waiting. I ended up going with Amazon marketplace seller from the UK. It's already shipped, I'll let you know how I made out when it arrives. Grabbed Your Funeral, My Trial and Kicking Against the Pricks at my local store as well. Gonna be tough keeping up with all these next month but I welcome the challenge.
tonyfranciosa
I'm pretty curious about Murder Ballads. My OG is a single LP, but I'm wondering if the new version, split over 3 sides, will sound better.
radiatorhums
I'm pretty curious about Murder Ballads. My OG is a single LP, but I'm wondering if the new version, split over 3 sides, will sound better. It's a few dollars more than some of the other reissues on bullmoose. It's more than long enough for a 2xLP, I really hope that it is.
tonyfranciosa
It is indeed confirmed to be 2xLP, but only 3 sides: http://shop.nickcave.com/view-all/murder-ballads-12-double-vinyl-reissue-pre-order.html
gumbercules
I'm surprised they didn't include any bonus tracks for Murder Ballads if they were going to split it to 2LPs. Still might double dip on that one if it sounds better than the OG.
caninesapien
The B Sides around Murder Ballads are great too
lexicondevil
I have the "unofficial" 2 lp edition of Murder Ballads and I'm pretty happy with it. These are the extra songs, I'm assuming b-sides: D11 The Ballad Of Robert Moore & Betty Coltrane D12 The Willow Garden D13 King Kong Kitchee Kitchee Ki-Mi-O D14 Knoxville Girl I will most likely buy the new reissue to compare the two pressings. radiatorhums
The B Sides around Murder Ballads are great too I would buy the hell out of that B-Sides and Rarities set if it ever got a pressing. It'd be huge, but well worth it. A lot of good stuff on there.

Yarp, those are they. They were included on the 5.1 audio cd version. http://www.discogs.com/Nick-Cave-And-The-Bad-Seeds-Murder-Ballads/release/3121093 lexicondevil
