holland623 Posted August 15, 2014 Share Posted August 15, 2014 Gus's Fried Chicken is a must (if you aren't a vegetarian) Graceland is really fun and everyone should go given the opportunity. For BBQ, Central Barbecue was really good. Also, around the corner from there is the hotel Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated at. (I didn't realize that we were going to be passing that, and it was really surreal) Sun Records tour is pretty short, but worth it... about $15 as I recall. don't be afraid to do touristy stuff there! If you're a Lucero fanboy you can check and see if there's a show happening at 1372 Overton Park (their old practice space). Drop by Ardent Studios maybe (do they do tours of Ardent?)
