If the chorus had been more interesting, I could see myself liking the song. I just kept waiting for it to get good and it never did. Bummed, I really wanted to love this band. RadDonut Posted October 1, 2014 Author Share Posted October 1, 2014 Okay that new song is pretty bad. I kept waiting for something awesome and it just never showed up. Also, you guys are going pretty hard on this band! They remind me of Taking Back Sunday. TBS wrote 2 awesome albums and then went downhill fast. I wouldn't call TEPB a fluke because it is a really great album and they deserve full credit for it. I think a quick rise in popularity may have pushed their sound towards this "okay at best" album they are about to release. Disappointing but whatever. Spaceships actually really resonated with me and I was hopeful that the rest of the album would be better but it's not looking that way unfortunately. Yeah they are no where as good as songs on TEPB but they are not as different as everyone makes them seem. The lyrics are more cheesy, but there was a lot of that on TEPB. I guess I should have expected it when I couldn't even force myself to get past the Daisyhead songs on the split from earlier on subsequent listens. The type to comment on Facebook about how much they love the new songs are probably the people who found them through Hopeless and can't wait for them to tour with All Time Low.
