Parker Posted September 10, 2014 Share Posted September 10, 2014 I haven't been able to sit through a full listen of a U2 album in years, probably since All That You Can't Leave Behind. Keep in mind that I once considered them my favorite band. So far, this is a huge improvement, but I'm not all the way through yet. And I agree. It's certainly better than anything they've released in years, but it's also far, far, far from their glory days.They had a great run, though. And I love that they've been the same band with the same lineup, for nearly 40 years. I don't think there's another band that has ever existed that can say the same thing. I'm still floored that after releasing this out of nowhere today there is already a strong hint at a quick followup.
