Yeah except for the part where the shipping is $6 more than the cost of the mailers.

Where are people getting them these days?

200 for $103.90 shipped. Best I could find. Can anybody beat that?

Be careful.  I went with the cheapest a few times recently on Ebay and they were paper thin.  Totally unusable garbage.  It was worth using the same Ebay vendor I've used for years who's a little more.  Fortunately they had free returns or I would have been screwed.

I've been using them for years.  It's always good quality and shipped same day most of the time.

I'm usually a cheap ass, but when it comes to mailers anymore, I have stuck with the mighty mailers. Sure, it's 50-100 cents more than the cheap stuff on eBay, but way less issues in my experience with these. One record getting fucked during shipment can potentially erase all that money you saved by the cheaper mailers.

I only use the mailers that have the extended sides like the mighty mailers posted above. The peace of mind is worth the extra cost. I use the ones made by Pratt, 25 for $50($40+$10 s/h) They're very similar, if not identical, to the mighty mailers. I haven't had a single issue with them. You can't ship many records in one mailer but the vast majority of my orders are for single albums. And I always remove the records from the outer sleeves and add some tape for good measure. I personally hate receiving records in the old cruciform mailers.

I used to buy the Whiplash mailers but eventually the extra cost didn’t make sense for me. I’ve switched to the less interesting 12x12 mailers and I just add 2-4 cardboard squares, depending on how much free space needs to be filled before the scored flaps are flush with the record & squares. It’s much more cost effective, it’s sturdy, and I haven’t had a single issue with damage after shipping out ~150 orders in them.

This is the best way to do it. I used to buy Pratt mailers but had to add the cost to my shipping prices. Now I just buy the plain LP mailers and add cardboard inserts to fill the mailer. Never any issues with these mailers and cost less than half of the specialty mailers. I found a large paper guillotine at a thrift store for cheap and cut down recycled boxes for cardboard inserts.

Yes, the ValueMailers are good quality.  Been buying them for many years a d usually buy 100-200 at a time, as well as their pads.

The recycling nerd/hippy + cheap skate in me loves this idea. But it seems like so much work to save a couple of bucks lol.

Then think of it not as saving a couple bucks, but saving the environment. Probably makes it feel more worthwhile to a recycling nerd/hippy.
