No differences in pressings at all. 1st and 2nd pressings have been compared. Same cat#, dead wax, color, ect. This is not a limited release as some have thought. As far as I know, they will keep pressing as long as people want it.

Anybody who ordered from the third pressing get theirs yet? I'm in the US and got an e-mail that it shipped on the 29th, so I'm hoping it shows up sometime this week, assuming weather hasn't delayed it at all.

We just received 3,000 of these today (that independent stores will be carrying shortly). My next few days at work are inspecting and counting them all. I've read this entire thread. How exactly were these packed up and sent out? The more specific you can be, the better. I know I read a few people had damage issues....I try to eliminate damages when shipping vinyl to stores....what size were the mailers? I heard "flimsy" so I assume that means single-wall cardboard, any bubble wrap used? Any help with how fragile the bags are would be helpful as well (do they crease easily?)

I got mine in the second shipment so I think they may have improved the packaging slightly. Was sent in a pretty standard thin European mailer. I think one of the main issues people had was the fact that the actual 12" can bounce around the silver bag very freely, so even if the mailer is tight for the bag the 12" can still move around causing seam splits etc.

What about padding on the inside of the mailer? Anything inside?

My first pressing order came with no bubble wrap or anything. Just a flimsy cardboard mailer.

If I had that information, I'd share it....I'm the lowest man on the totum pole (just in charge of getting them to stores intact)

As for how mine arrived (first batch).. i ordered two and I think thats what kept mine in solid shape.  both arrived mint, though if only one was in the mailer it probably would have left room for it to bounce around and cause le damage.

It seems like $50 is going to be the standard price. Some local stores may price it cheaper though.

Pretty much as expensive as the original pressing with shipping. Gonna hold off and see if it pops up anywhere else.

I paid $49 shipped for mine when they first came out. So this is still around $10 cheaper which is still $10 too much if you ask me.
