Guest
Maybe I should revisit Rant, but it totally turned me off of wanting to read more Palahniuk when I read it like seven years ago or so.
chefchino
I hope James Franco doesn't ruin it
zerohacker
It's a toss up between Survivor and Lullaby for me. I like pretty much all of them, though. Haven't got to Damned or Doomed yet though.
stl_ben
First draft of Lullaby script is done...could be a great movie if done right. This and Rant are my favorite of his books. Also, who bought the Chuck audiobook on vinyl?!?
WAXXX
really liked lullaby. have a signed 1997 fight club paperback. could never imagine myself actually listening to this, but could be a nice collector's piece for someone.

Precisely. I was a big fan of his for quite a while. He's the only author I have like 10 books by. Fell off at some point and haven't read the new stuff. I don't read enough at all anymore in fact. passionbrand
just picked up that vinyl. and now i am eyeballing the comic books. i need to get more info on all his new stuff. I had no idea he had a new book out. Anyone read Beautiful You?
hippielauryn
Wow, glad I came across this. PO'd the Expedition vinyl. The last book I read by Palahniuk was Tell-All. I had a hard time getting through Pygmy so I stopped for a long time. Need to back on this.
stl_ben
Pygmy and tell All were tough reads (for me). Beautiful You was great though, cot a copy from him at SDCC last year and had it read before I made it back to STL. Haven't read Damned or Doomed yet. andy.
WHY WOULD YOU BUMP THIS?! I just looked up the audiobook vinyl and the comic and the new short stories comp. I want to buy them all, but I'm so poor and should be saving money for vacation.

cambionic
To follow up on this, what would you guys recommend as a first read? I think Haunted will introduce you to some of his more disturbing topics while still giving you a taste of his social commentary. It's a real easy read - you'll likely get through it in a few days or less.
