segal-train
http://www.castlefacerecords.com/products/useless-eaters-bleeding-moon New album from Castle Face Records on Half Glass Full vinyl (half clear-half white). Never heard of these guys but the description sounds promising: Seth and Useless Eaters have been ripping the shit out of terse Telecaster-sharp riffs and Devo indebted angular rhythms since dude was 18 years old. A young protege of Jay Reatard, Seth’s home-fried concoctions are sharp, corrosive mini-masterpieces that make you want to flick cigarettes and push strangers. Psycho-sexual serrated vocals, acidic thin guitars, rubbery bass and hot to tape traps lather the whole disc. A really ripping crew of tunes from Seth this time around, kicking off with the supremely heavy “American Cars” and not letting up til the side break - these are glass crunching gems with just the right amount of crud to cut your lip a little. A great alienated vibe throughout and some really sticky melodies in there too. Going out under the neon tonight?.... take this with you. Castle Face also seemed to restock their store today. Fuzz Live in San Fran is available again on black, the first Warm Soda album has a purple variant, and also additional copies of the gold variant of Drop by Thee Oh Sees. hxcoliver
I randomly bought one of their albums a few monarchs back "hypertension" and really really dig it. I'd recommend checking them out
kamalatapes
I ordered cause This band is fucking rad, it really reminds me of younger Ty Segall before he was influenced by nothing but garage rockers, pre metal days
