I was just curious if there was an easier method (a website link I overlooked?) than calling the plethora of stores in the city I live in, but thanks a million for the dialogue. I'll keep it mind.

lol, i'm only playing.  the easiest thing is to call which HT you plan on going to and simply asking.  Some have a ton of vinyl, some have very little.

There are 10+ stores local to me, and 13 stores local to my brother (who is coming down to visit tomorrow and could pick one up for me). I thought, perhaps, there was a simpler online search method than calling 23 stores asking if they carry vinyl. Didn't seem that out of line considering he recently posted a massive list of stores on the west coast receiving a copy...

Considering you can order online & ship to store, I'm surprised they haven't implemented a way to buy online what they have in store, then pick it up.

Maybe you could just say where you live? Then if someone on here lives close to you, they could let you know what stores stock vinyl? Example, if you live in MA, I can tell you that only like 2-3 stores in the state have vinyl (all of which are no where near me )

A surprising number of bands (especially metal bands) do this though. Doesn't make a ton of sense, but happens often enough.

I can see doing it for different pressings, but in the same press? Just weird really, to me.
