tape Posted January 12, 2015 Author Share Posted January 12, 2015 Is that BASS on "A New Wave"? Doubtful. S-K tune their guitars down 3 half-steps (normal guitar is tuned to E, they tune to C#). They also sometimes use octave effect pedals which create notes an octave lower than what is played. I play guitar through a bass amp sometimes and playing through the bigger speaker adds a lot of low end, and I think they've used this trick in the past.
