dapeebs
And just to think we thought we heard the last of them. Unbelievably excited
carrowsmith89
There's been mention about the band wanting to do a reissue/box set before, so I'm excited to see an official announcement of this from them. I'm guessing that there may also be a Universal b-sides album. I just really hope that the box set isn't released for RSD, so that we all have a better chance of receiving them. mmhmm
Redundant for those who already have all their albums, but I'll check it out anyway.
vinylfilmaholic
If this is legit, then I'm excited because I've been unlucky when it comes to finding Cities and New Surrender so if this will have EVERY album in it, I will gladly fork over the change for it. Looks like I can sell my NTFP and BFTBM copies soon.
Cats Are Cool
I have none of their albums so being able to own some of those early ones is going to be great.
chhholly123
I hope this is real.
THE_James_Champ
I hope this is real. Exactly this. Also, I was at the final show, and holy shit: emotional.
dapeebs
Also, I was at the final show, and holy shit: emotional.way to brag. I'm jealous and am trying very hard not to hate you for it
THE_James_Champ
way to brag. I'm jealous and am trying very hard not to hate you for it sorry.
THE_James_Champ
I know they've been hinting at a live album or DVD of some sort. To be honest, I only saw professional grade recording equipment on stage, and only a few times, so I don't know how much was actually done at the final show. chilltown38
Would just like a live album or lost songs on vinyl. Have all the other vinyl, so no need for the box set for me.
dapeebs
sorry.stupid new job, otherwise i would have gone to the show in nyc when they played Cities in its entirety. Ughhh. At least i got to see them once.
thenameisluigi
stupid new job, otherwise i would have gone to the show in nyc when they played Cities in its entirety. Ughhh. At least i got to see them once. And NTFP in it's entirety. At least that show had the audio recorded for a potential live album. And to echo what was mentioned above, I only saw professional cameras being used for a few songs on stage during the last show.

himynameisShane
I was at the NYC show with Cities/NTFP They defiantly hinted that both would be released as live albums
xthricex
I hope Anberlin releasing a box set would mean individual titles would also be repressed and available. Not buying a whole set for New Surrender.
_unproductive
I hope Anberlin releasing a box set would mean individual titles would also be repressed and available. Not buying a whole set for New Surrender. really.. thats the only album you want? or do you already own the others?
mmhmm
I'm curious if "box set" means a Tooth and Nail box set only...their aspirations to have all albums in one place could be a challenge with three labels involved. But if they can pull it off, more power to them.
TFP
If they do a full boxset I could see Lost Songs being pressed that could make it a special set. -Also their other b-sides, they had like 7 for Vital, haha.
SpazzyMcGee
Now I don't feel so bad selling new surrender and the first two albums
FlippingOut
Wonder if it'll be like just a box set from their tooth and nail albums.
xthricex
really.. thats the only album you want? or do you already own the others? Hah, no. It's the only album I don't have by them. I actually don't hate NS as much as most though. Inconsistent but has some solid songs.
AlexH.
I'm curious if "box set" means a Tooth and Nail box set only...their aspirations to have all albums in one place could be a challenge with three labels involved. But if they can pull it off, more power to them. Isn't it just two labels, T&N and Republic? At any rate, it's just one really, as both labels are owned by Universal (rather, the first 3 T&N albums are owned by Universal... You know what I mean). I'd say it's very plausible for this to be a full discography box.
TFP
I guess if it is a full discography set they will probably press Vital on a 12" to match, then maybe they could make it a 2LP with b-sides.
