Sure, it's comic book-ish...but this is Claudio we're talking about...a self-professed and outspoken comic book and sci-fi nerd...I'd be even more upset if the music sucked, which I feel it doesn't. skumbucket Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 It lacks the symbolism the other albums had. I.E. you didn't know what the dragonflies meant at first. The etched side is awesome, and I haven't heard the album yet but I'm sure it is too. I just think the gatefold looks like something spraypainted on the side of some dude's van. i still don't know about any symbolism becaues the "story" is too convoluted and silly to make any sense of it. also, don't knock van art. van art is the most under-rated art of the modern age.
