Hosehead has two new 7"s put up for sale today, both Canadian bands. No preorder, no bullshit. Records are in hand and ready to ship. Buy 'em both and save $1.

First up is First Base: the band most people know because Personal and the Pizzas covered their song "Nobody Makes My Girl Cry But Me", but also released a topnotch LP on Hozac in 2013 and a string of singles before that. This 7" is four tracks that sounds like The Beach Boys, Ramones, Rudi and Undertones mixed into one. 300 pressed.

Second is Fashionism, with features Jeff McCloy from Tranzmitors, and members of New Town Animals and The Jolts. This is their debut 7" and mostly picks up where Tranzmitors left off in the late 2000s, with maybe more of a Boys/Eddie and the Hot Rods vibe this time around. 500 pressed, first handful of orders come with a limited sleeve with an alternate colour scheme.

Coming up next: Nervous Talk debut LP

Late 2015: Moderns - Year of Today 45 reissue
