Only 400 copies of this stylishly designed multi-colored vinyl set—designed by Lechtenberg and manufactured by San Francisco’s Pirates Press—will be released. The box is available for purchase while supplies last at the Gallery 1988 website. "Because the Thirty Three and a Third art show was held at G1988 this year, which was a huge step up for the show," Lechtenberg says, "I knew I wanted to do something extra special in conjunction with the show. I've always been a fan of 7-inch box sets. They're compact and precise. You can have a lot of fun with the theme and design. Having the artists do all cover songs for the project ties in directly with the art show's theme—artists reimagining and reinterpreting classic album covers. I'm thrilled with the four amazing artists we lined up for the set. Each was able to choose whatever songs they wanted to cover and we couldn't be happier with the final product."A 20-year plus "old-timer" in the professional design scene, Dana Lechtenberg was originally taught how to spec type out by hand. He received his first flappy (xacto accident) 15 years into his career. He's worked with Nerdist Industries, Casey's General Stores, John Deere, Adidas, Verizon and Rudy's Tacos. He's also been involved with the music design field, and previously ran the Tyros label (R.I.P.). By day, he works for a university in Cedar Falls, Iowa; by night, he mows the lawn and barbecues. thepunkguy
CVHX
i would like the no age one, but have a hard time spending 40 bucks on 4 7"s
koljou
I really want the Sean Bonnette 7" to keep up my AJJ collection, and Rozwell Kid is awesome, but $40 for 4 7"s is so steep.

nancy_raygun
This looks really neat and is probably something that will sell out - but it's tough to pull the trigger on $
scottheisel
It appears that it's $40 all-in — no additional shipping cost. That kind of would lessen the sting, as if you were to order four individual 7-inches from four separate webstores, it would be at least $7-8 per transaction after shipping. This has been up for a while. Saw it on Rozwell Kid's tumblr and I wanted it. When I first went to purchase it shipping was some crazy amount like $15+. Now I saw you saying it's PPD, so I tried to bite again. Put in my paypal info and saw: Unfortunately there is no Shipping Rate available for your destination and/or weight of your cart. Please contact the Shop Owner for further assistance. Then I clicked "complete my purchase" only to be brought back to the same page with that button greyed out. These guys are making it really hard for me to pay way too much for 8 cover songs.

Shit, you're right. Shipping is $14+. It just didn't show up until after I entered all my info. So much for a "grand total."
koljou
Fuck. Yeah for me it comes out to $58 with shipping and tax. No thanks. Are bands getting individual copies of these 7"s? I'm seeing AJJ in April and I'd pay $10 for the one 7".
beatnik11
I would love to have this, but its way too expensive. Also while I have plenty of 7"s I tend not to play them much because flipping every couple minutes gets old real fast. Throw these on an LP at a decent price and I would be happy to grab it
flood
yeah I really just want Sean's..... $54 for 4 7"s is ridiculous.
