I'm not sure if it's the simplistic funky beats or what, but the new songs sounded way better live than some of their older songs. This album is a lot of fun and very enjoyable. You guys should really try to go see them on this tour. The newest Stolas album is fantastic too if you haven't listened to it yet, and I was really excited to hear their new stuff live. Carlo kills it on vocals as well as the drums. Dude is just a beast, and probably one of the nicest guys ever. Hail the Sun was pretty good as usual. First saw them around when Happiness came out at Warped Tour when it was Travis and Will and then I saw them again around when DBM2 came out when Jonny and Jon were back. Need to see dat Tilian. I've been pretty lucky to see all three, except I saw Johnny way back when and he fucked up the whole set because he was too wasted to perform. I've disliked the dude ever since. Technically like a 3-way with your music Pretty much all Rise and most Epitaph LPs have a free CD included, and I read somewhere awhile back that Rise switched from download cards to CDs because it was a dollar cheaper per unit.
