TheArtThief
Hey y'all, do any of you know how Trivium's Shogun sounds on vinyl? I'm considering picking it up and want to make sure it wasn't terribly pressed. chiefwahoo
TheArtThief
Eh, I bought it. I'll post about the quality of it so people in the future will know if they're ever wondering.

markok
Usually there are always vinyl rips out there, so that is a pretty good indication (hell, sometimes even youtube videos with a spinning record and a microphone can give you a good idea how well cut/pressed album is). TheArtThief
Same! I used to really like them when I was younger, but have since strayed from them. However, I think Shogun is still a gem even though I don't listen to that genre anymore.

HybridxReality
Ascendancy is my favorite. Lost it for them after that and REALLY lost it hearing to them currently.
TheArtThief
For reference, A/B side sounds awesome; very full sound. However, C/D sounds compressed. Side C pretty much runs all the way to the label. If you want this and can get it relatively cheap, I say it's worth it. In other news, Corey tweeted out that they plan on pressing Ascendancy sometime Edited March 8, 2017 by TheArtThief
