It was obviously a glitch, and even if it wasn't, it was obviously a mistake on someone's part.  I don't believe negative feedback is warranted. People/Machines make mistakes.  Am I bummed?  Of course, but sometimes things are too good to be true.  If any of you are planning on leaving negative feedback, then please post your ebay name, so I know not to do business with you in the future, in case I were to make a mistake.

I do have to second this motion. If people want to bitch and moan about 'taking advantage' of an error and the company saying "no we messed up, we cant take a financial loss like this, sorry" then they are not a person I want to do business with or even converse with.

The way I see it is either the prices are real and the orders go through, or we have exposed a failure in their system and are helping them see what they need to fix. I would, however, never attempt to ding their business because of having orders reversed for wrongly priced items.

If Hastings weren't already one of the most unorganized major media retailers, I would agree. But having been a frequent customer of theirs for years now, both in-store and online, I can say they make these kinds of mistakes regularly. In my experience, this isn't some outlier event, this kind of thing happens constantly in-store. I won't leave negative feedback if they refund me, but it'll be one more knock against Hastings for me.

I just got a ups tracking # from hastings

I order 3 different grateful dead boxes and one single lp

I have no idea which item(s) are in the shipment, but it does say it is 10.5 lbs

seems like good news

hopefully others get similar news!

 

I missed one of those set. I hope they come through.

So on the gohastings ebay items for sale, I found the Devemberists We All Raise Our Voices for $14.23 plus shipping which is $30 on the bands' website. Also, mewithoutYou It's all Crazy Its all False for $24.62 plus shipping which is sold out on the bands website.

It's all Crazy is regularly in print. It's probably available from Amazon and quite a few other places at the moment.
