It always seemed like the fluid would stay on the record after drying, which would lead to move surface noise than before. It does get a lot of the surface dirt off though. And you're 100% correct... when I added it to my cart that day it was 13.47 and when I went to finalize the order and cut out some stuff I didn't really need (had easily added about 20 titles) it had dropped in price to 9.99. At first I thought it was reflecting the 25% off, but I did the math and also noticed that the others hadn't dropped yet. The discount came off at the end, not itemized. It's time consuming when used properly, but it's definitely a cheaper alternative to a vacuum system. I've certainly had no issues with surface noise due to the fluid.
