jack8urt0n
RSD? Fuck. Why can't this just be a vault release?

dreamover
RSD? Fuck. Why can't this just be a vault release? The White Stripes RSD releases usually aren't that hard to get and it'll be available on black vinyl and stay in print thereafter. Why would you prefer to pay $60 for it and wait several more months to get it?
timsimmons
I like that they are going with the regular release art for this, but that the promo art will also be used in some capacity.
timsimmons
I imagine the run for this will be pretty big (way bigger than Elephant), seeing as this has never had a widespread release. And Elephant was pretty easy to get on RSD.

The RSD will have a 3D Lenticular Cover with these images: darkforest71 and soundofsilver

Why would you prefer to pay $60 for it and wait several more months to get it? I've been waiting 10 years, a few more months is nothing. You're right, I just don't care for RSD. Having this as a vault release would guarantee I would have the edition I want, and would come with a bunch of other pointless shit that would obsess over. natenomm
I'll be buying this for sure. It's the red-headed stepchild of The White Stripes albums, but it's a damn fine album.

I came here to be all "But Walking with a Ghost has been pressed" but I guess it's not an official/widespread release. At least according to the Discogs entry. I picked one up while I was in Ireland a few years ago.
timsimmons
I know the CD b-sides were 7" b-sides, but I didn't think the song was pressed. Interesting. Didn't know there was a promo/bootleg.
dreamover
The Walking With A Ghost 12" is a bootleg. It does sound pretty good but I'd love an official pressing.
