youspinmeround
I never got a good sounding white. Will wait for black just like all my other stripes and Jack related lps
johnnypaddock
Looking forward to this one for sure... It got a lot of play at my house when it was first released. Also, the colors don't bother me at all. I have heard numerous white LP's that played perfectly fine.

BuzzersonKillwell
I'll probably be in for this. Elephant was a pretty easy get, I don't remember the pressing numbers, nor do I see them listed here. I assume it'll be similar.

zeb_enjoys_vinyl
I sold my RSD Elephant a few weeks ago... I used to really like the White Stripes but I kinda grew out of them I guess

I assume it'll be similar. If I'm not mistaken, I don't think that they released a number. I remember seeing pretty much everyone who was out on RSD get one, though. BuzzersonKillwell
Yeah, a few people here who lived in bigger cities got skunked I think. Or would have if it wasn't for some help on here anyway. There was at least 5 to 10 copies in Burlington, VT, so if we got that many.... usually means there is a bunch.

darkforest71
Pretty pumped for this. Usually anywhere from 25-75 people show up to my record store for RSD, and I'm always the 7th or 8th in line. It wouldn't surprise me if way more showed up for more of these releases they keep announcing. That being said, this RSD is gonna be pretty intense. planetrakis
Why white?!?!? Its so dammmmmnnnn noisy! Oh well...patiently waits for black version While i tend to agree the results seem to be very specific to house/blend used in pressing. I have some very quiet white pressing stuff but it's pretty rare.
Endserenading
Fuck. I knew this was gonna have to happen. I Already have anxiety about not getting a copy haha. But if that happened at least it's coming out on black. 10 long years! My favorite white stripes album. Wow.
kannibal
I wonder how much it's going to cost. For some reason the last couple of lenticular cover albums were ~$50 (Devils Rain and One Hot Minute). I also wonder if this was the rumored all analog White Stripes reissue that was mistaken for Elephant. I don't love the album as a whole, but Blue Orchid is my favorite WS song. Really trying not want the RSD release.

According to a release from United Records Pressing (which has since been deleted), SRP is $37, so expect somewhere along the lines of FowtyDollaz

Not sure it's worth that price to me, but I've also been disappointed by some vinyl prices in general lately, so who knows.
watchtower41
Shouldn't have waited so long to buy that Born Rotten 45 case. Anyone know if they restock 45 cases? The Born Rotten Case has been sold-out since just before Christmas, but they did have stock at the actual TMR Store when I visited in January for the Jack show. I would imagine they would become available again at some point online, but there's a lot of awkard merch that they sell at the shop and not online timsimmons

dreamover
Thanks. Not sure it's worth that price to me, but I've also been disappointed by some vinyl prices in general lately, so who knows. The colored vinyl and lenticular cover will undoubtedly carry a higher price tag. Plus, most record stores drive up RSD prices on limited stuff as much as they can. Third man sells their black double LPs for around $25. It may be a few months, but once it's available, these will sell for about $25 direct from third man on black vinyl with a regular cover. RSD is supposed to be monitoring mark-ups on a more consistent basis, especially for independent stores that signed "the pledge", If you feel a store is marking up for RSD, you can report them to RSD HQ, and they might be removed from the official distributors list for future events and sales. That being said, $37 is already pretty steep for a TMR double-lp release, even if colored and limited gatefold. This will be a great seller, and an release that will make people want to participate in RSD. I would expect an impressive print run. $25t does seem about right for the eventual black release, I believe that's the going rate for Icky Thump

I've heard this. But if it's true, there wouldn't be many stores left.

KingTacoMunster
i do not have a "legit" record store here, unfortunately, so if anyone is willing to snag me one, id appreciate it. I know its a ways out, but wanted to put that out there.
