Rapidfiretollbooth
The details of Kendrick Lamar's sophomore album have been kept quiet, even after he released "i," his first "good kid, m.A.A.d city" follow-up track. PortugalTheBatman
Yes. Don't really care for "i" but really like The Blacker The Berry. Hopefully there isn't a long wait for a vinyl release.

Derek™
m.A.A.d will be tough to beat, but I'm staying optimistic with realistic expectations.
gpa21
Fuck yeah. Best rapper alive and has the potential to be the GOAT.
topher
Ugh. Can't wait even that long. My guess is that if Blacker The Berry is at all representative of this album, it might top GKMC. enyfour5
Guest
i've probably said it 100 times already, but this is one of the many albums that provide the potential for 2015 to be the best year for album releases ever.

Multiverse
Speaking of Kendrick Lamar, has anyone picked up the Lamar bootlegs? EDIT: from Vinyl-Digital. I picked up Section .80- It's more of a novelty, the sound quality varies from decent to not so great I guess it met expectations, my Exmilitary boot from them sounds a lot better though

serious business
Gonna give maad city another listen then I guess. Hopefully I dig it. It's...alright. I don't know why everyone seems to be all up on his jock. Definitely not greatest alive, probably not even best in the last 10 years. radiatorhums
Excited for this. Don't really listen to hip hop at home, but this will be rad bike riding music. Didn't realize it was coming out so soon either!
parkinglot
I don't dislike rap/hip-hop, but I can never listen to an album of the genre front to back. MBDTF is the only exception.
gpa21
GKMC is such an enjoyable experience from front to back and didn't leave my car stereo for about a year. To say this album is highly anticipated is an understatement.
enyfour5
Digital albums are $15 now? LOL. i mean, it's going to have 20 tracks, but I guarantee this album will be around $10 in Best Buy when it first comes out. Those who buy it now and pay the $15 are just idiots. lol Cloudsbelow

The different voices and his flow throw some people off but I love it.The Blacker The Berry was fantastic i mean, it's going to have 20 tracks, but I guarantee this album will be around $10 in Best Buy when it first comes out. Why does that make someone an idiot? You got me listening to J. Cole talking about him earlier (I think it was you), I'd say he's miles ahead of Kendrick, but different strokes. I think all the skits and shit on GKMC just really turned me off. I've never been much into skits, even though I know on GKMC they helped move a story along. I maybe felt like he was spoon feeding the story too much... Just let the music tell it, you know?
