As kess said, it's more of a 'first encounter' than a solid and fleshed out review. Either way, this album is pretty hard to digest.. It's all over the place. And yeah, I need a vinyl ASAP. nah, for real. during mortal man, i'm pretty sure this was my face.. especially during the whole oprah call out listened through again this morning- didn't quite have the same power as the first listen... but then again, background music while packing couldn't possibly compare to headphones on/smokin a j. i (FINALLY) go on vacation tomorrow, and i imagine this'll get a good 10+ listens during the week.
