Out Now: Superheaven (Daylight) - Ours is Chrome

Recommended Posts

after about 5 listens to the song and a few listens through those minute clips i feel this album will be a lot more streamlined and accessible than jar. when it first dropped it reminded me so much of Gypsy's "Giants Despair" just less hardcore clunky and with more developed vocals. i think jars worst fault was the juxtaposition of the bangers to the slow kind of awkward alt rock jams. it seems this album cuts out those slow puddle of mudd-esque moments in favor of a more rockin "sing songy" feel throughout.

also i get a hunch that theres a bit more jake on this record and a good amount of songs they both sing on???

So what is a "Foil O-Card"? Am I stupid?

An O-card will be something the sleeve slides into. Just about the same thing as a slipcase, except the O-card has open ends. They are often used for cd's and dvd's. Even on cassettes as a cheap outer sleeve alternative. Title Fight, Harms Way and others have done them for records too.

that makes sense, sounds like a cool idea if it looks appealing
