thepunkguy
hey guys. my friends and I just did our first episode about collecting and figured at least a few of you would be bored enough at work to listen. I know there are a few more podcasts out there about music and such but I figured since this is directly about collecting.. it belongs here. hope you like it . and if you reply other podcasts, I will create a running link . Shitty Rambo
Washed Up Emo is more of an interview style shown with artists and bands. They used to talk about vinyl on the Punknews Podcast but have moved away from it. I sometimes talk about records on my show but my co-host is a jerk who only watches wrestling and eats at novelty 50's era restaurants so conversations about music don't get very deep. thepunkguy

tgpotgpo
I've followed the podcast since episode 1. I like it a lot. My only crit is the lack of volume normalization. Some people's voices are very loud, some extremely soft. When listening in my car I frequently have to turn the volume up or down depending on who's speaking. Other than that, I'm a huge fan. Keep it up!

Plarocks
hey guys!! thanks. we definitely have to work on it.. Mark our sound guy has to work on that. any suggestions on how he might be able to ?? Get a "Nano Compressor" for $50... Or a used Mic Compressor on E-Bay. That should "level out" everyone if you set it up right.
tgpotgpo
hey guys!! thanks. we definitely have to work on it.. Mark our sound guy has to work on that. any suggestions on how he might be able to ?? Perhaps a small mixing board for the individual mics. That way you can adjust per person. You can also use software normalization in programs like audacity: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/normalize.html MP3gain is old, but I believe still works: http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net QMP3Gain appears to be a more up-to-date, open-source version of MP3gain. http://www.hecticgeek.com/2012/02/qmp3gain-free-mp3-normalizer-windows/ I've never used it, but http://www.kanssoftware.comlooks promising too. just a normal guy kevin
Buy an $80 mixer with 3-4 mic channels. Adjust each channel's volume based on each speaker's voice. (You'll also need to buy 3-4 mics and mic cords, so it could take some cash)
